LO
love you
Usually great service and food but for some reason the service was ok except this time we decided to try something new off menu and it was just terrible. Honestly it was not even close to being like the food we have had in the past. We did not Fuss or want to make a big deal out of it. I couldnt even finish my french onion dip sandwhich because of how aweful it tasted and made me feel very ill all we had said was that we werent happy with it but it was okay we didnt want nothing else and just to bring us the check the waitress took it upon her self to get the manager whom was so rude right off rip like we were purposely putting the food down. Which isnt true we liked it there have been going there for couple years now. But i am in awe about how the female manager treated us over our honest opinion and treated us like we didnt have the right to do so. We didnt want a discount or anything we just wanted the check so we could leave. I will never go there again and all my family and buisness owners who i have refered them to the oyster pub. Never again !!! Your buisness will lose thousands of dollars in the future.. very rude and disrespectful when we had done nothing to deserve that treatment at all. I would get rid of people who dont know how to take honest critisizim. Wasnt meant for any disrepect towards the buisness at all. So she needs to get off the power trip or quit because as a buisness owner myself she will lead your buisness to fail and oyster pub doesnt deserve that kind of reputation. Thank you . sincerly secret shopper skylar hanezz.. . i will be sure to include a nice blog about my expirence today. Good luck !!!!

This used to be 1 of my favorite haunts. As a local I try to seek out gems I can afford to frequent often HOWEVER their quality had been slipping badly. While they have good oysters I came here for their steamed clams. They USED to be the best I town. Little necks or cherry stone steamed to perfection and always a bakers dozen to boot. NO MORE! Now theyre using middle necks (as verified by a helpful server who looked at the tag on the bag for me.) Bigger and tougher! AND now so full of sand as to be almost inedible the last 3 times Ive had them. I easy chatting with the server & taking her thru werent cleaned properly. She didnt know that they had to be soaked, preferably with some cornmeal or oatmeal to get the little beauties to expel the contents of their tummies aloneg with the sand. I showed her a method i had found online & she went to talk to the chef. She cant back & candidly told me the chef told her that their business was too slow to bother with cleaning them so they be was just streaming them right out of the mesh bag. Uhhh, HELLO!! MAYBE if you CLEANED THEM youd be busier. I can no longer recommend the Oyster Pub if this is how they treat the foid theyre going to serve their customers....based on how busy or slow they are. BAD!!!!! Thumbs down!

Run! Dont walk, if you love oysters! Located on Seabreeze Drive this place has the feel of a local hangout spot. It has a bar and table/booth seating all around. There are TVs everywhere and one at every booth. And they will change the channel if you ask. My wife got the fried shrimp platter. It came with 12 lightly breaded shrimp, fries, coleslaw, and hush puppies. The hush puppies were different than we are used to eating, but delicious. They are dense and filling. We ordered an extra side of them. They came in a basket with a side of tartar sauce. I got the grilled oysters. Unbelievably good! They are freshly shucked then treated with a buttery- garlic and Parmesan cheese sauce. Then they are grilled over an open flame. I have had oysters a lot of ways in a lot of places and these were my favorite. They were large and very tender. I got a dozen. And then ordered 6 more. A heads up, the oysters are prepared in a different kitchen than the other food. That means orders come out at different times. My wifes meal came out and she was almost through before I got mine. In spite of that we will go back. And get the hush puppies as an appetizer to tide me over for the oysters.

Okay, so I googled find best seafood really disappointed with the selection and less than stellar reviews..Finally decided on The Oyster Pub , Great place clean its a sports type of bar with TVs everywhere including each booth you tell them your favorite team and sport and wala there it is.. Anyway I am rambling the seafood was awesome I had the fried seafood selection with oysters, fish, clam strips and a great crab cake this crab cake was all crab and oh yeah shrimp my wife had the fried oysters so sweet and a very good portion, seemed like a good locals hang out. When I am back I will return. By the way we live in Orlando and were spending a romantic weekend at the beach.

Dont let them seat in the overflow backroom or you may as well be ready to just nod all evening as you wont even be able to hear the person sitting right next to you. If you want a drink, have a friend come 45 minutes prior to order as there is a consistent in 30 to 45 minute latency with anything you order. Horseradish comes out in teaspoon paper sample cup and could not get any more. 150 tab and cant get an extra teaspoon of horseradish for your oysters. Servers intentionally just say yes to you while ignoring your request so many times you have to wonder if it was personal.

The best place to visit in Daytona. The Oysters are #1. If you enjoy & love Seafood, you go to this location. I am in their photo book. Seafood, fish, fish tacos, hot dogs, burgers, fries. I know in general, because its true. You do go to a fish place for fish, meat for meat & so on. But this place has a variety of perfection. I am Italian/Yugoslavian/Canadian. I am not a Chef. If I could, I would by this place out in a moment. We do currently have a place in Ft. Lauderdale. Oyster Pub is #1 and nothing beats it. Truth.

Just wanted to have drinks and watch a basketball game. My boyfriend and I sat for almost 10 minuets before anyone greeted us. Once the server finally came over it was just to tell us she would be right with us. Another 5-7 minuets go by & STILL NO server. I mean couldnt one of the FIVE waitresses standing around at least take our drink order. It was bad. Just bad. At that point we got up & walked out. Yeah, out of the many wonderful sports bars in Daytona this is NOT one of them!

Sitting at the bar, one of the best oyster experiences Ive ever had. First, the selection of tap brews is comparable to any place in town, minus the tap room maybe. Anyways, their beer selection isnt what sets them apart. What sets them apart is the fact that they shuck the oysters in front of you. And let me tell you, Ive had plenty of oysters in my day, there truly is a difference in taste when they are freshly shucked. Its a must visit place for any oyster lover.
