Terrible experience!!!, went over for lunch with friend, order and while time pass by, asked the waitresses and they all give you the same respond,"let me check your order", then you see them going in circles with people food, looking for the tag number the assign to you when order.I saw few people packing their food on their table, leaving pretty upset.I was hoping didnt have to do that. Well, i was wrong after waited(wasted) 1 stupid hr of my lunch, food cam with the same " Im sorry " routine, I had to pack up and go, plus found a piece of plastic inside my rice, almost chock. They could alert us, when we order, since its lunch time and if they have a delay, or they could offer to go pack, but had to do our self.!!!!!!!!!!Terrible!! Make sure you have plenty of time and watch for plastic in your food!!!

Upon arriving to the Apopka location, my experience was not favorable. I placed my order online and selected the "15 minutes - ASAP" option for pickup. I arrived at the restaurant about 20 minutes after I placed my order and paid for the food. They mentioned the food was "almost ready." Approximately 50 minutes after placing my order online, they gave me my food. This wasnt a great start to my first experience dining at this restaurant. The breaded chicken entree was fantastic. The grilled chicken entree was good, but not great. Lastly, the vaca frita entree was not very good or tasty. Lastly, the servers forgot to give my daughter the black beans that came with her kids meal. Id probably go back at some point (perhaps to try their breakfast), but this likely wont be a staple in my dinner option rotation.

Compliments to the chef... Breakfast was great. Lunch was wonderful. Dinner was awesome! I love this place. This cuban cafe is the best. I would say the best in the Orlando area. Im telling you, give it a try. I tell many of my friends of hebers because the food is wonderful, the staff is always very polite and they dont take very long to make you a very nice dinner. Also, their prices are very fair in comparison to other diners that are not even on the same level of quality. Trust me, Im not easy to please. This place is definitely 5 stars all the way!

Fantastic. I dont usually like rice and beans, but this restaurant has one of best Ive ever eaten. Ive ate most of what is on the lunch menu and its all pretty good. My favorite is breaded steak. Its a very thin steak that is seasoned pretty well. A close second favorite is the chicken fricase. Though I suppose since this a Cuban place, the FAQ would be "is their cuban sandwich is good?" It definitely solid, but its not the best Ive had. I do think their Ropa Vieja sub is far better.

Delicious cortadito! Ate there yesterday again for lunch, Im a Cuban from Cuba and grew up in Miami. Food is good, my husbands Vaca frita was very good and soft. I had a grilled chicken steak and it was also good. Cortadito is delicious, can surely compete with the ones from Miami. Few suggestions if theyre reading this, they need to get some real Cuban bread, add leche malteada to their shakes and pizza de chorizo, these are cuban staples in all Cuban restaurants. Thank you

Being from Miami,Hialeah and Cuban I know good Cuban cuisine when I eat it. That said this place is excellent! My medianoche (midnight sandwhich) was great! Not to mention CHEAP and satisfiying (It was huge I couldnt finish it but my husband did!). Everything here is very affordable. The place itself is very clean nicely decorated and inviting. The bathroom was immaculate! I will be making weekly visits! Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. ***** :O)

Had dinner with the family there the other night and it was great... Customer service was great from the cashier to the waitress it was all around great. Not sure where Frank Bartute went to eat it must have been someplace else. As for calling someone an idiot your the idiot for being so disrespectful to a person who is just doing there job. Your really the idiot for calling someone else an idiot....

Had a horrible experience... Went to this location just for coffee and pastries and ended up getting coffee and a bag full of ants... The pastry had ants baked into food and bag was full of ants.... Called to complain and was not offered refund on order but just partial refund on pastries... Horrible customer service and possible health violation.... Will not be returning here for future business..

I usually go here for the coffee its very good. I just ordered a Cuban Sandwich and was extremely disappointed. It tasted like a ham and cheese loaded with pickles. There was no pork. It had some potato fried things in it too. Also was as flat as a grill cheese. A Cuban restaurant should never degrade their traditional sandwich. Theres a growing gas station chain that makes them a lot better!

Great food, a little pricey, good service. Great for lunch if you are in the area. I havent had anything on the menu that wasnt delicious and it beats most of the Latin joints around the area...its especially better than La Granja and Compare. The cuban sandwiches are great, as well as the bistec encebollado with rice, beans and tostones. Give it a try if you are around this area in Apopka.

Great food with fast service! I always get the Cuban Sandwich, but my girlfriend frequently orders the white rice with black beans, tostones (fried plantains), and grilled chicken breasts. If you need a drink to wake you up, their house Cuban Coffee(Cafe Con Leche) will absolutely do the trick! Saturday nights will also star a live singing performer that sings classic Spanish music.

Hands down the best churrasco Ive ever had! ( this includes Cuban restaurants all over Palm beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties) the staff is a joy to meet and exceptionally friendly. And oh the food!...the black beans are awesome, yellow rice superb, and the fried plantains are perfect! Also- make sure to try the guava pastries are excellent! Highly recommend!

Im a 1st generation Cuban-American, and this is my go-to Cuban cafe in the area. There are others that are good, but this one reminds me of my grandmothers cooking. It reminds me of the little cafes in Miami. Its not a trendy place, its a place where you see Cubans of the community and others who love the food come together and talk, and thats great!

Went there with friends on a Saturday night when they had karaoke. The food was amazing, and all of the songs were clean. The DJ convinced a few people in our group to participate, and it was all in good fun. We are back in town again and excited to be going back once again. Cant say enough good things about this place. Try the ropa vieja!!!
