I would say this place is just..okay... I went for the first time today and I felt like it was comparable to five-guys burger place. The fries seem to be very greasy, like soaked in grease. More mushy then a good crisp fry should be. **But if you get a child order it comes with a lot of fries so no need to order extra fries like I did for myself. They give you a HUGE amount of fries and the kids burgers are the same Size as the regular single burgers. The burgers are flat/thin so the quality of the meat I didnt think tasted like a home cooked burger, but better than fast food. The bun was ok, nithing special. But overall I did like the burger better than a fast food joint. The bacon burger is good. The sautéed onions they put on the burger are yummy! The (z-sauce) is good. I wouldnt recommend putting it on the burger , rather on the side. Its good to dip the fries in. Its kind of spicy and sweet. Friendly staff and everyone smiled. They didnt seem to dread being there. We were welcomed with a hello and smile. Overall, this is a good place to run into for a quick burger if your starving like we were.

DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING. What I ordered: Chicken sandwich with lettuce and mayo Burger with ketchup and mayo What I got: Chicken sandwich with ketchup and pickles Burger with mayo, pickles, tomato, onions, mushroom, lettuce, ketchup and cheese ...at least they got the fries right? The guy even called my order number out 4 times because I forgot what number I was until I pulled out the receipt, so I know I got the order assigned to my receipt. Really, really bad. Will update if I ever go back and they get the order right.

Tremendous amounts of effort has been put into the service aspect of Z-Burger. My first time in the restaurant I was greeted by the manager, Angel, who was friendly and kind enough to address a mistake in the order without us having to complain. Great experience, and the dipping sauces are awesome! Keep up the quality customer service. Disclaimer- I am vegetarian and found the options available on the menu to be tasteful!

Think of this place as a Five Guys Plus. The burgers are very similar, thin patties and greasy as all get out. However, you get a lot more customization options with the Z. There are also a few non-burger items if that is important. Also there is a massive shake selection. Zs fries are marginally better as well. I dont really seek this place out, but if there are no better options nearby, it does in a pinch.

First trip to Z Burger. The menu seems to say that every burger comes with tomato, lettuce, onion and mayo. The "standard" toppings. So I order a veggie burger, which is somehow more expensive than a bacon cheeseburger.... And it comes just a patty and a bun. What? And they were both burnt. Well for what its worth, my fiancée enjoyed her burger.

Local burger chain comparable to Five guys. Burger patties are delicious. Choices of toppings are varied. Fries are amazing. Shakes are also must try. Then several gym sessions are needed to burn the calories. But totally worth it. The Columbia heights branch has a nice atmosphere. It was an old movie house lobby. Nice place to chill.

The Bacon Cheeseburger and Chocolate oreo shake I had was amazing, it was cooked just right. The shake was done in a way that wasnt all melted in the first 5 min too which is a plus in my book. Unlike most other joints make their fries are in a large quantity which is absolutely worth every penny.

Biggest let down about this place is the parking. I’m not a fan of street parking so, I just had to put that out there. Otherwise, the shakes served here are really good, and they got options to choose how you want your burger. Also the only place I know you can get $2 burgers

So good. Just like the college days. A few beers in and its the best burger you can eat in the district. Only go when youre situated to forget the next day unless youre just getting a shake or youre hungover. Really the folks are so nice, thanks Z burger. Only the best.

Absolutely amazing food. The burgers were thick and juicy, the fries seasoned and salted and the onion rings battered and delicious. I never bother writing reviews but this was legitimately one of the best burger joints Ive ever been to.

The food is not exactly...healthy...but it is SO good! Exactly what you want when you are looking for something delicious and greasy. Get the fries with their seasoning and their awesome Z sauce on the side to dip them in.

I love the atmosphere and location. The food was served quickly and it was amazing. The Z-sauce is the Z-bomb. I wish their outdoor seating was a little bit better so groups can enjoy the view.
