In general, I like BGR (their garlic fries and their shakes rock). Theyre a bit pricey for what you get, but its still good. This particular location bothered the hell out of me, though. We stopped in, today, because we happened to be at the strip mall theyre in because my wife needed to hit the italian store. It was time enough for an early lunch and the sign in their window was lit, so we tried to stop in. We went in the front door, all ready to order, and were told "were not open yet: come back in 45 minutes". If they werent open, why the hell was the front door open and why was the bright neon hamburger sign lit?? If youre not open, dont act open.

So I took my girlfriend here for dinner. Shes from Pennsylvania and has never eaten burgers in Virginia. Needless to say her first experience was FANTASTIC HERE. the music was great. The atmosphere was inviting and pleasant. The store was really really clean and the staff was company branding good. Theyre friendly and very quick to help with any accommodation or request. The manager there is incredibly nice and will absolutely make you feel like a regular even if its your first time! Absolutely recommend!!

I just came from the The Burger Joint where I had to wait 30 minutes for a burger. I ordered the burger of the month which was very good. My girlfriend ordered the Wellington which was also tasty but the bun came smashed. The wait was 30 minutes and the line wasnt even out the door. At one point the employees got into an argument and it almost seemed that they were about to get into a fight. TBJ has a lot of promise but dont go there for a couple of months so they could get the kinks out.

Swarming with flys. Employee asked if everything was OK. We said loved the food but the flies are unacceptable. His response started with a chuckle, "Well we dont have any fruit in here, they come from next door." Next door is a dry cleaners and a Starbucks! Plus the employee did nothing to address this issue even after we asked for take-out boxes and packed up our largely uneaten food.

Expensive and not very good. I keep giving this place chances (location is convenient) and it keeps disappointing. I wish they would get it together. Two medium burgers came out dry and well done. Fries were cold. Total cost: $26 for 2 burgers, fries, and drinks. Its telling that the the stores in this shopping center are always crowded and this place is usually empty.

Southwestern burger was burnt on all sides. Dont they know that can increase risk of cancer and carcinogens? Anyway, it was also way too salty... Thats why they put the sweet mango on top to balance it out... No wonder America has an obesity and heart disease epidemics... If you dont care about any of that then, eat away...

Great burgers avid fries. Highly recommend the Wellington. They also have chicken, turkey, vegetarian and ahi tuna burgers for those looking for non cow options. They tend to under cook a bit for my tastes and find medium well is essentially medium in my parlance.

Average burgers. Fun staff. Been there 3+ times with varying success. Burgers are average and always soak through the buns. The fries are simply ok, good if you want quantity over quality. All-around subpar value.

Southwest burger was nasty. Dont know what I was eating but it definitely wasnt real meat. All burnt and didnt taste good. Yuck. I wont be returning, so many other better, cheaper burger places in this area.

Had the Wellington - ordered medium, got medium well - and the best onion rings ever! Thick and juice, very unique with the onions as the main attraction, not the breading. Still prefer Rays, though.

We can walk here so when our 3 year old wants a hotdog this is a great option. Always good service, good hotdogs and usually a decent beer on tap. Can get busy but you can always eat outside.

Two stars because Ive had perfectly good burgers here in the past. Todays rubber chicken sandwich is deserving of zero stars. I suspect freezer burn. Takeaway... Dont get the chicken.
