I was a little disappointed with the service. On a weeknight with half the tables filled, our waitress kept disappearing for long periods of time. Aside from that, the food was pretty good. The sashimi tuna poke was outstanding. Fish tacos are pricey ($6.00 each) , and just OK. Korean BBQ Ribs could have been cooked a little longer, but still not bad. Priced like a high-end restaurant, but in reality, its just another beach bar with food served in red plastic baskets. The major issue is parking in Dewey. Its almost created to make you a parking violator. Careful where you park.

Really nice and friendly personnel. First, I ordered the opah (waitress said it was new on the menu), it tasted too fishy and tough, so I told the waitress, she took it back and I asked about and ordered the Mahi Mahi, the lady manager brought it to the table, I did not like the taste of the Mahi Mahi, so they discounted my entree on the bill since I did not like the opah or the Mahi Mahi. My wife had the salmon and it tasted good. I give the 4 stars because the waitress was very nice, friendly and gave sincere eye contact, and the lady manager was just as nice to me as well.

I must assume that the people who give this place a five star have never been in a restaurant before. We came for dinner but stopped after starters. We got their "famous nachos" shown in the picture. If you pay close attention you can actually see that the cheese has been sitting there for awhile maybe since yesterday. The whole thing was reheated and cold to the core. The tortilla chips under the cheese were dry. No moisture whatsoever. Drinks were OK. Service is attentive but the ambiance looks cheap. It is not "open air" as in the description but only indoor AC.

The perfect meal! Service was perfect, food was perfect, atmosphere was perfect. Honestly, it was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. They really pay attention to little details. The food is creative and unique. Just take a look at the menu. Tiki bar style but very family friendly. We had a table along the open-air side. It was great for the kids between the activity on the street and the reggae music inside. Beer selection was good, focusing on Kona and the locals. I would eat there every night if I could!

Had the tacos.. mahi and rib..hubs had chicken. All were delicious! The tortillas and slaw were fresh and good. Excellent margarita even though it may have been from a mix .. still good though. I gave it only 4 stars because the side salad was so small, literally lettuce and a cherry tomato squeezed into a small cup. Still a nice mix of patrons from families to singles to couples of all ages. Our waitress was kind and very attentive to everyone!

Terrible nachos. Dry and stale chips. Just a little bit of cheese, guac, & sour cream. Pay $5 to add chicken and youll get about 10 tiny little cubes of something they call chicken. The waitress did not try to help nor offer any fix... Only a "well the portions are fixed". Terrible customer service. Buy a bag of chips at Safeway or Wal-Mart and youll immediately have better nachos. Dont fall for this tourist trap.

Tourist Trap. We had been told the Nachos here were the best around. Quite the opposite. The nachos were mainly a mountain of chips that were dry, the guacamole, sour cream, and salsa consisted of a small scoup of each. For 5$ more we added chicken, which were about 10 cubes of chicken. The service was slow and they forgot the beer we had ordered. Great views, terrible customer service.

We had a excellent time here the other night. The whole wait staff and bartenders where very nice and attentive. I had the spam blt and it was out of this world!! Pineapple wrapped in bacon was also delicious.... Their $5 margaritas were served in pint glasses so you real got a nice bang for your buck. Will definitely be coming back! Dont believe any of the negative reviews!!

we were there for their happy HR. Which was 3-6. They had a great selection of food and drinks on the happy hr menu. The spicy tuna was by far my fav. We also had the tacos I recommend the ahi. Week day crowd wasnt too loud although we were next to a table full of little ones. But once they left it was very enjoyable.

Waited 2 hours for food, this place is terrible, would highly recommend avoiding at all cost. Save your money. Ps, just received my food, cheese was cold and not melted on my burger and waitress acted like nothing was wrong, absolute disgrace to Dewey beach Delaware

Kids werent sold on chicken fingers. Great beer selection. Asparagus was phenomenal. Go with the regular shrimp taco or tempura. Ahi was dry but okay. Was a bit rice was good. Brownie and hula pie were outstanding. More like a 4.5 but would only let me do 4 or 5

Slow service. Hot day- no ice in drinks. Silverware wrap, inside, was dirty. Carton of milk was sitting out, no ice...hot day. Health hazard. So many flies!!!! Food was good, but wouldnt go back. Rather disappointed after seeing good reviews.

Came in with 6 people. There was a 4 top and a 2 top near each other but they wouldnt push together since it would be "rude to the servers". We waited 20 minutes, tables werent used, walked out annoyed. Went to Que Pasa instead, waaay better.

We love Hawaiian food -- and we have been to Dewey Beach three times in the last two years and Nalu has always been a favorite. Great food, excellent beers, friendly and super-convenient to everything else going on in Dewey Beach area....

Our waitress seemed bored of life, or at least her job, but we got seated quickly for dinner & the food didnt take too long so we werent bothered. Food wasnt anything to write home about but it was sufficient

Stood in clear sight at the bar for 15 minutes and the bartenders never asked for my order. I dont think they ever looked at anyone but their girlfriends at the end of the bar. What a joke establishment.

It has a friendly atmosphere, and ample seating. The food and drinks selection is great. Ive never been disappointed with anything I ordered. And its decently priced, and has a convenient location.

Waaay overpriced for what you get. My shrimp was burnt. Sent it back and still overcooked. Not at all authentic Hawaiian food. Nachos and bean soup were good. Went twice and not going back.

Fun place. Back second year in a row. Fish tacos nicely done. Weird top 40 music instead of island music. Cool stage. Fun for kids and families. Cool retro surfing videos on the tv.

The service is amazing. Bartenders get the party going. Good live music. Open atmosphere, windows lets in a nice breeze. Food is good. When in Dewey youve gotta stop here.

Laid back atmosphere (let our 2 kids run around and no one fussed), friendly wait staff, yummy fish tacos. I went there twice in 48 hours! Will go back again next week!
