I arrived at Olive Garden at 4:30 for dinner. My guest had not arrived yet. There happened to have been an incident were an elderly person had some sort of accident which had already occurred prior to my entrance. Employees were cleaning up drops of blood remnants from the incident. I of course waited knowing what had taken place. But now that the commotion is over, the host never said Ill be right with you for she was working on the computer got a while.. This went on for 10 mins and then I asked the host when I would be serviced and she replied that she was only making sure residents were taken care of. A family of six came in, bypassed me and got there reservations. Im still waiting to get reservations then two separate elderly patrons got reservations. At that point I asked for the manager on duty and explained my situation in which he apologized. The manager whose name I forgot directed me to a table. The original apology should have come from the host who seemed oblivious to her unprofessionalism. Unfortunately this type of unprofessionalism with the youth is happening too often today but I must also include adults being unprofessional in all businesses today. Sad world we live in. Were in trouble today. Thank you.

I have been here a few times in the past since its next to Westfarms. The last time I was here was a few months ago and that is THE last time I will go to this Olive Garden. I have social anxiety disorder which sometimes affects me being able to do simple tasks like ordering food. My friend (not boyfriend at the time) ordered for me, hes used to doing this for me, so is my mother, and other friends of mine. At one point when I went to the bathroom, our waitress said to a co-worker "controlling boyfriends are the worst" and then called my friend disgusting and controlling, he didnt tell me about this until a few days later and it made me so upset. I would love for the employees here to work on reconginizing mental illness issues especially social anxiety. Many other people who suffer from it have the same problems I do ordering food and for someone to jump the gun and assume my partner is my significant other without knowing and call them controlling hurts a lot. This has been bothering me for a long time and I was hoping leaving a review would give me closure. Be more mindful of your mentally ill customers.

Worst dining (or lack thereof) experience of my life. Roy party of ten! Roy party of ten! My party of five waited for an additional half hour while the waitstaff called for a party of ten 4 times. Heres the catch...the party of ten was no where to be found. I asked to speak to the manager regarding the multiple attempts to locate the party of ten rather than seating us. He said they usually try twice. I informed him (which he obviously knew) that they had called for the Roy party 4 times over a period of roughly 30 minutes. I understand that a party of ten will bring in twice as much revenue as a party of five but in this case you will lose much more in lifetime earnings as I will never visit this establishment again. Perhaps your staff would benefit from realizing that a bird in the hand (party of five sitting in your waiting area) is far more valuable than a bird in the bush (party of ten dining somewhere else that was able to accommodate them more promptly).

Looking at the parking lot when we frist arrived we thought this place is going to have a long wait if so we were leaving. But we gave it a try . But they have more seating than we thought ,because we were taken right in. Ordered right away and the food came right away. Then though as we were seated we walking by a table of 30 it looked like and I thought for sure that would be holding the orders up. But no . All orders same to be coming out fast and perfect. I have to give it to management this olive garden is run really well. And the food was excellent. The waitress was excellent. Very happy with everything. Ive been to alot of olive gardens in Florida, NC,CT,NY,you get the picture. Some were great and some not so much. But this one is excellent and well run. You all have to try it. Thumbs up

Had dinner last night with the family. Kids used to like Olive Gardens for their salads. Instead of the cold chilled plates for salad, we go hot plates. One of them had a horrible stink that everyone around the table can smell. The salad had much less dressing than usual and was tasteless! When the main dish arrived, the chicken Alfredo plate had a hair. When the manager (Christopher) arrived and we gave him the dish, he smelled and with a face that turned beet red, he said " I dont smell anything". And to the hair in the plate he responded "so, what do you want me to do". We understand that mistakes happen especially when the restaurant is busy on a Saturday evening, but with managers acting like that, I am confident this brand will see a spiraling downward course in the next couple years.

The food was good and the service was ok. Our server forgot that we ordered water for the table because she had 500 other tables and it was busy. On a Sunday afternoon I thought there should have been more servers. The silverware and glasses had watermarks all over them. I had to ask for new ones- which werent that much better. So either the dishwasher needed to be cleaned or something. Its a good place to have dinner when you dont feel like cooking but not anything to write home about. It was cook that they had the little device to order from or play games on (for kids) though you have to pay to play the games. Overall it was ok

We had a delicious lunch late Nov - chicken & gnocchi soup, salad, garlic bread sticks, spaghetti and meat balls. Good service. I dont like the limited salad dressings (2) - i.e. no bleu cheese, but it was nice to have it served and it was very fresh with a good combination of ingredients. Id rather not deal with the obtrusive POS machine on the table - I expect the server to deal with payment. It turned out to cost her a lower tip - I went with the 20% but realized later that that did not reach the usual $5 minimum that I leave.

We go to this Olive Garden as its closer than the one at Waterbury. I have been here twice(first time in June and then September) but both the times my experience were bad with the service in this location. The unlimited pasta bowl comes with far much less sauce with the pasta, that makes you feel like you are eating drained pasta. This has happened the second and the third time we ordered pasta. I probably will try to not to come here but go to waterbury location. Not sure how many of them had similar experience like me.
