The food is by far the best u will get this side of the Atlantic! Stefano was charming and the real deal. His food is off the boat and fresh as can be. My first experience with pesce was in Capri, I found I actually did like it when fresh and clean. Well, no surprise, Stefano is from Capri, which we guessed by the end of the meal. Yes the food is pricey...but well worth it! You will never be disappointed! The wine list is magnificent, the staff friendly and the decor like you just popped in to Amalfi! I figure he is going to save me many many dollars in airfare! Lol I will see u there tonight and every month till I head back to Italy.
So if u want a cheap meal, go to MacDonalds, if u want a dining experience go to Aria. If u have seen the movie, "the Big Night"' you will understand me when I say Stefano is PRIMO! Ciao

Risotto my butt, they claim that rice with zafaron is Italian and should cost $21.00 for a bowl of rice? Any child can make a better dish for $5.00. The owner/chef has a nasty attitude, yelling and disrespectful. No client support from the hostess to the owner. I wasnt even asking for a refund, just pointing out the cheap rice for $21.00. Completely unacceptable, un professional and its a true shame places like this exist. As you can see the rice with nothing. Risotto milanés looks like just rice and taste like oil and rice. Horrible.... The soup, the vegetable Italian soup is a must NOT have. Seems like they combined tofu in Italian soups. Must be a new American invention because its horrible. When I want tofu I go out for miso soup. This is ridiculous and a true Italian shame...!!!

I will never forget my experience at this restaurant. I visited with my husband a while ago and was completely ignored. We were offered drinks and never saw the waitress again. When I approached her to request service, she acted as if she could not hear me. I dont know if this behavior was a result of my husband and I having a youthful appearance or if it was related to us being African American, however, neither of us have ever been so disrespected in an establishment before, and weve been to much nicer. We ended up leaving after being ignored for about 40 minutes. Terrible experience. (This was in 2012)

Everything...food is exceptional.I felt as though I was back in Italy eating the freshest & finest of everything... (my house guests loved the restaurant too. Service very friendly & host /owner Stephano treated us as though we were familia! Cant wait to go back!

Absolutely fabulous. Stefano prepares excellent dishes representing most regions of Italia. A nonpareil wine list accentuates the experience perfectly. The best Stamford has to offer, and one of the best in the Tri-State region period!

The food was awful. Didnt get a lot of food with the meal. The kitchen was playing loud music while people were still eating their meals. The parking horrible. There was no spaces.

Decent food, tiny portions, if you have normal appetite, order 2 entries to be sure. For the money you have to dish out, there are many alternatives in the area.
