Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Food is ok, bad service, old location - Oct 8, 2010 My family and I have been at this restaurant a few times and on our lasts few visits we were very disappointed. The food used to be good, now is ok, but that isnt the main problem. The location is old, so much that the roof had a leak problem or pipe leak problem. We noticed throughout the entire restaurant the ceiling is somewhat wet, moldy or warped from being wet before. I had water dripping on me at the table and in my food. We noticed the water dripping through the black moldy tiles above us. While the manager did try to move us, he did not seem to take the problem very seriously - shrugging it off to water from the air-conditioner. For this setting, prices are not reasonable. There are much nicer Italian restaurants in the area with more reasonable prices. We are sorry to say we will never eat at that restaurant again.

YUCK! I used to eat here all the time; however, I will NEVER go back!! I found a HUGE BLACK BEETLE in my food.. I ate most of it and as I was finishing I saw it!! I alerted the waitress at once, who brought the dish over to her manager to look at. The manager was so RUDE! he did not even apologize, instead, he kept making up excuses saying it was from the broccoli rabe, like that made it any better! It just proves to me that they do not wash their vegetables, and they cook them with all the pesticides and crap to serve to their customers. Then, he had the nerve to hand me a check and said he will do ME a favor by taking off my meal. I am disgusted by the service and horrible hospitality of the staff, especially, the manager of the establishment! He has NO people skills whatsoever. BEWARE!!! THE KITCHEN IS DIRTY!!

Let me start by saying the owner is a cheap and nasty person who should not own a restaurant. He wouldnt honor my Groupon that said nothing about ordering 4 entrees. When I told him the wording was ambiguous he told me to have groupon refund my money and to never come back. The customer is always right? HA. He was in my face yelling at me for 15 minutes in front of other people until I stormed out. It has nothing to do the $, its the principle. What a jerk! He lost serious business from myself, friends and family and Im sure everyone in the restaurant who saw his DISGUSTING behavior.

At Pomodorino, you are family. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is knowledgeable, accommodating, and super friendly! I am always a fan of the fish specials and the mussels are not to be missed. After a filling dinner, I like to head to the bar for a night-cap. The bartenders are always fun and the drinks are always good! Its a nice weekend treat!

This is a great place. I live in Atlanta but visited Huntington quite a bit last year. I ate there just about every night. The food and service is excellent. They even took care of a lunch event for me. Just go there, eat drink and be happy. Tell the Tom from Atlanta sent you!

Another great meal at Pomodorino! The staff is friendly and the salmon is to die for! I used a groupon with no issues, as usual. If you havent checked it out there yet, do yourselves a favor and go asap! Everything, including the drinks, are delicious.

Have been eating at this restaurant for over 12 years. Delicious food and wonderful service. Ive eaten at the Massapequa location as well and I definitely prefer this one (Massapequa one had very bland, dry, overcooked food). Not to be missed!

Wonderful place to come down have a good dinner with the family. They make plenty of delicious food but i got myself a taste of their baked clams. Also enjoyed their oven brick cooked pizza not sure why but it makes the pizza 20x better.

Never had a problem using a Groupon at Pomodorinos. Dinner for four means you order dinner for four people. Groupons are a great deal and Pomodorinos is a great restaurant. Great staff, good food, large portions and reasonably priced.

I had ate at Pomodorino with my girlfriend and another couple. The portions are generous, wait staff is friendly, and the owner even came over to our table and introduced himself. Great atmosphere, great food!
