Good for take out. No ambience at all! Few wait staff. Wooden tables, no booths. We arrived after winning a gift card. Took 2 yrs to have time to go. Was told it was "favorite Pizza place" by coworker. Apparently the BYOB was attraction for her too. I dont drink so it meant nothing to me but for those who do..its affordable way to do so. The website looked good and varied gourmet salads and pizzas looked great. Due to poor communication the staff required to wait on all were absent. Two workers barely could wait on customers. Our discomfort and anxious experience we hoped would be offset by great food as Vero was sharing ad regarding bring picked best Pizza in past year or more. Our salad was quite good. Creative and good ingredients. We werent interested in gourmet Pizza just some good ol Vegas on our Pizza. It arrived overcooked..burnt crust but mostly edible. I didnt have the heart or time to request a new one but I was very disappointed. The website definitely mislead. I expected a much larger restaurant with some comfortable seating. I wont be going back but I will say it had potential for good Pizza and we unfortunately arrived on a bad day. One cook and one worker serving as waiter, phone orders, cashier, table cleaner, etc. At one point I wanted to get up and say, "would you like some help?" I apologized to my family mbr as we had driven all the way to Plainville yowards Farmington from Rocky Hill just to have this experience. We finally got to spend that gift card thankfully. Id give it a D for service and a B for food. Im guessing this is largely a take out place with a sm amount of locals who occasionally eat at the place. Not a place Id take a date or friend. Many alternatives far more comfortable and great Pizza. I think of Foxy Pizza in Glastonbury for example.

We are new to Plainville and tried Vero last night. Placed our order and was told 20 minutes. Showed up about 15 minutes later and had to wait another 30 minutes to get our order. We sat in the restaurant which was very nice and clean. There were some customers that pulled up after us and ate at the restaurant. They received their pizza while we waited and yet we ordered our Pizza 20 minutes earlier. Its possible they pre-ordered but our pizza still took a long time. Got the pizza and wings home. The wings were almost cold but were really good. The pizza we ordered was supposed to have pepperoni but had what looked to be sausage. Overall the pizza was good but its not what we ordered. Could have been an off night for the place but with good pizza places like First and Last and Damicos closer to our home we probably wont be going back.

I heard about this place and thought about ordering but I went to the site and the colors made my apatite feel like it was jumping out of a plane soon to hit the ground. The pictures on the website made me feel like I would taste newspaper when I ate the food. Sorry if Im being ridiculous but its honesty...next place. Hire a new Graphic Art designer.

Vero pizza has been an absolute favorite of mine since the very beginning. The Vero fries though.... Oh. My. Gawd. These will definitely be part of my "last meal" if I ever need one. Also my favorite pizza the pizza Toscana... Life doesnt get much better! And the wings!!

Tiny place but clean and really just modern italian eye appeasing interior. No alchol served there but hey theres a liqor place right next door. Try the summer salad: goat cheese, green apples, walnuts, etc. DELICIOUS. Pizza was terffific as well! :)

Its a good day when the stars align and we can get pizza from Vero! They have the best gluten free pie in the area and my family is nuts for their normal pizza. Its a great little pizza shop that focuses on quality ingredients and good pies!

The pizza is fresh, the crust is think and crispy, exactly the way I like it. The Vero fries are excellent along with the bruscheta. Nice environment thats great to bring the family to and have a great lunch.

Ordered a margherita pizza. Nothing special at all. Seemed to be just a greasy, over cheesed regular pie, with way too much garlic and slices of tomato on it. Not worth $22.

Fantastic pizza! New York style thin crust, not too thin, not too thick. The price is worth this high quality pizza. In the land of a thousand pizza shops Vero is #1.

Tried to order at 9:10 Pm well before the 10 Pm closing, and they cancelled my order because they decided to "close early."
