Ive been to jakes way back a few times and always been very pleased. Tonight I went to the norwalk location, stood at the desk for nearly five minutes in an empty restaurant for my online order. Eventually, a young boy listening to music with headphones came up. He saw me, but didnt greet me. I greeted him, asked for my food, he gave it to me but said nothing. I told him to have a good night, he again said nothing. My onion rings were ice cold, and I didnt realize until I got home he didnt give me my drink. In a world and economy where a lot of hard working people would be very pleased to have his job, I am especially disappointed. Ive never written or called a company with a complaint before, but I felt the experience as a whole was so unsatisfactory , I felt compelled to contact the company.

I was greeted when I walked in the door, nice. My order was taken, and repeated back to me. My order consisted of chicken tenders, which were not greasy or over-seasoned, perfectly cooked breast meat. The chili cheese fries were hand-cut potatoes with lots of chili and cheese, also not over-seasoned, but very tasty. The shakes (chocolate and strawberry) were made with real ice cream in the traditional way, and were good also. The prices are reasonable considering everything was made to order. I was asked if everything was ok, and on the way out after we finished our meal got a thank you for coming from staff. They obviously are putting the customer first, because the food and service were above average for this type of restaurant, and I like that!

I came in tonight to find the place almost empty at 6:35. I only know the time because I checked when I ordered at 6:38 on my receipt while I was waiting for my food to finally come at 6:57. I waited almost 20 minutes for a burger and onion rings. My onion rings were cold by the time the order was ready and my burger while usually good at another Jakes was sloppily put together, falling apart and the cheesy burger had 3 pieces of unmelted cheese on it. Only been to one other Jakes but my experience was much better there. Very displeased

We ordered from here after finding out that Prime Burger had closed. Im not impressed. The burger was dry, the fries were pretty bland. The milkshake was good but its not too hard to make a good milkshake. Im not sure if Ill be ordering from here again, its definitely not my first choice.

Im sitting here right now. I waited 28 minutes for my burger and 33 minutes for my shake. The burger was cold and the shake was completely melted. It was not busy. I had to ask for my burger one and my shake twice. I will not return.

Waybacks burgers are decent, but not as good as 5 guys. We come here sometimes when we want shake with the burgers. Their cheese fries are pretty good too. It tends to take a while to get your food though.
