Went on new years eve with friends who have never been to Hibachi. despite being busy, they had our table within 15minutes of our reservation. the HIbachi Chef was a lot of fun and did a good job assaulting my friends with zucchinis and sake(lots of sake). please be sure to know that you will have food thrown at you, you will get soaked with sake (dress accordingly) and may be made a spectacle of if you are not having fun. The shrimp, scallops(big shrimp and diver scallops-not the little bay scallops), vegetables & beef (NY strip loin) that where used where good quality & fresh. The noodles and fried rice where ok. The Food is a good value for the quality products they use. I recommend sharing a Scorpion Bowl( a bowl of tropical fruit juices and booze with a flaming volcano of booze in the center) it is a fun way to start things off for guests that havnt seen one before. We left our kids home,I dont recommend bringing kids under 4 years old. It is noisy, big scary flames, people getting a little drunk chanting SAKE, SAKE, SAKE, no room to run around. a kid at the table behind us spent the whole night crying in his moms lap. However it would be a great experience for older kids. I also dont recommend the Habachi part of the restaurant if you are allergic shellfish or gluten( there is too much crosscontimination and premade unlabeled sauces). The Service was a little rushed, but it was new years eve and there where lines of people waiting. All around a great experience for all of us.

My family and I really love and enjoy dining at Ichiro. Its one of the best Japanese restaurants around my area. Our experiences is always good so I’m surprise at all these negative comments. The food is delicious especially the Hibachi, the sushi is pretty good and most of the Hibachi chef is very fun and entertaining. My kids loves the Hibachi section because they enjoy the fire, the tricks and the show. It do get very crowded over the weekend so if you don’t have a reservation the wait will be long.

I went there with my family for my birthday and we had the greatest time ever. The food was amazing and the server was very friendly and nice. It is also very child friendly, so if you wants to bring your little ones to some place fun and entertaining, Ichrio is the place for you . The chef and is funny and tons of free saki. I would recommend this place. Its so worth it.

When I came in I was seated right away thats always a plus. When trying to order me and my friends ordered a mixture of things everything from Miso soup to rolls and calamari. Food was excellent, now if you want to try the rolls Monday thru Thurs rolls are half off during lunch time and Mon and Tues all night their half off as well. I Would highly recommend.

We arrived after the crowds. They promptly sat us at hibachi table. Chef seemed a bit tired or bored. Server was nice but we felt a bit hurried to finish our foods b/c they kept coming to out table to move things along. Food was good, plentiful and tasty. Pictures on the wall of the patrons were cute.

Its a terrible Japanese restaurant operated by Chinese people. Food is hardly at any acceptable standard. Uni was stinking. Sashimi are all previously frozen and they served the oily white fish which in large quantities can induce oily diarrhea. Yet they served that. Price is ridiculous too...

Weve been going there for my husbands birthday since it opened. Its a lot of fun, and the food is excellent (and well priced). We always do the hibachi, but we have also gotten the tempura for take-out. Its perfectly done the way tempura should be. We have never been disappointed.

my family and I eat at Ichiro in Danbury regularly. we really enjoy the good food, the courteous staff, and the hibachi show! wed been to their Trumbull location previously, and both locations are very good. the sushi is also very good for the area.

Food is good ...I had an allergic reaction I guess Im allergic to crab, they comp me the entire bill which wasnt cheap and they didnt have to do that for me. good place tho and a nice setting ....me love them long time

This place was busy at 8pm on a Saturday night which tells you something. We got seated immediately at the sushi bar though and the sushi was excellent. Great service as well. Will definitely return!

the food is ok, Ive never had the hibachi, but I would not recommend this place if you dont want to spend a ton of money. a meal for three people set us back almost 70$ totally not worth in :(

Amazing food, clean, fast, and fresh. Me and my roommate come here on Mondays and Tuesdays for lunch when we can bc they have 1/2 off of rolls. Their entrees are really good as well.

Great food! Go on Mondays and Tuesdays for half price sushi! A little bit of a wait for half price but worth it. Hibachi is very fun to especially for birthdays.
