This place has some of the best sushi in the area I recommend them to everybody I know looking for sushi who is local they have a very big menu with some very interesting rolls that are all delicious. Parking can sometimes be a little hard to find on a busy Friday or Saturday night but thats not too bad because they are in the village and the walk is usually nice. The reason why Im giving them three stars and not five is because their service is seriously lacking. Most of their waiters and waitresses barely speak any English which is OK but sometimes makes ordering something special little difficult also they seem on the willing to help if you have any questions and just kind of leave you sitting there for sometime without instantly asking you for drinks or appetizers. They also have about six misspelled words on their online menu which shows the lack of quality control. If this place what up their game when it comes to customer service it would without a doubt be a five star review for me.

I have enjoyed Benkei since they arrived on the scene in Northport. Im a vegetarian, and always find something delicious to eat here! So if you have vegetarian and vegan friends, this is a great place to take them. Another review mentioned the service. In my experience it is great. There may be times in almost any restaurant where a snafu can occur, and I can only surmise that this reviewer experienced one of those times.

TERRIBLE the chef got nearly every part of our order wrong and STILL charged us for his mistakes -- not only that, they charged us FOURTEEN DOLLARS for two iced teas each refilled once - most important part however is that the food was really really gross this time! Never would go here again !!! I eat out every night this is no joke very bad !!

My bf and I have been going here for 4 years once a week and we love it more and more everytime. They have the freshest fish and the atmosphere is so cozy. I suggest ordering an order of spicy noodles, volcano roll, and yummy 3 roll (they load kani salad on top).

Terrible service. The appetizers were okay, but the sushi was terrible. I got the tuna roll and there was way more rice then there should have been and a tiny piece of fish. Never eating here again.

Great local sushi spot. Love their gyoza, rolls, and spicy noodles. Great service and atmosphere. Go to Woolfys afterwards for ice cream.
