I went to Bonefish in Westminster last weekend for my birthday dinner. The food was amazing as always, but the service was absolutely horrible. It seemed as though the entire staff (including the manager) was more interested in what was on TV than their patrons. They were all gathered around a table in the bar watching TV and chit chatting basically the entire time we were there. Yes, they were slow. There were only about 5-6 groups in the restaurant, but in that case, the service should have been stellar. As a former server, I was extremely disappointed in the lack of checking back in with us or keeping our drinks full. He also forgot my husbands drink in the first place and had to go back and get it after us waiting a good 15 minutes for my drink. The servers were not busy at all, but ours only checked on us 2 times during the entire visit (over an hour). He didnt ask how the food was until we were ready to have what was left of it boxed up to leave. I was very disheartened by the fact that my water sat empty for so long that I had to take my husbands glass just to have something to drink (I was also done with my martini for quite some time, so I had nothing to drink). I was sitting directly in front of the bar area and the bartender was also our waiter, so our drinks were always in plain view even from behind the bar. I hate having to give bad reviews and normally dont even bother, but this experience was so unbelievable that I felt the company needs to know. I was very upset that my birthday dinner turned out to be such a horrible service experience. I dont think I will be going back any time soon.

My previous reviews for Bone Fish have all been 5 stars. But they lost a star today. My wife and I came in tonight. Wife ordered the crusted trout with sides of mash potatoes and broccoli, and I had the ribeye with sides of crab fried rice, and broccoli. My wifes trout came out burnt and the back, but by time she realized it, she already had taken a bite. The burnt flavor she couldnt get off her tongue, and it ruined her meal. My meal however. Wow. The steak was juicy, flavorful, and oh so tasty. I ordered the crab fried rice, but somehow ended up getting the truffle Mac and cheese. I tried a bite and it was nasty, sent it back for the crab fried rice. Now the crab fried rice was tasty, and I would get it again. Service was good, but I think our waitress might have been hearing impaired, I had to repeat everything. So we had 1 bad meal, out of the many, MANY, times I have been here, Im not complaining, and I will be back, so you can earn that 5th star back! Can you guys look into getting some sugar free, or diabetic options for the desserts?

So, I have to tell you that I think that the food at this place is really pretty good and reasonably priced. Had a less than optimal experience with the service tonight. The waitress was really in a "sell, sell, sell mode." She really pressured me to get an appetizer (way more than the usual ). When my food arrived, she never asked me how anything was. Ever. Just came up and said did I want another drink. Then she came up and wanted to close out the bill right away-before I put my fork down. Said something about how she was being sent home because the Broncos were playing. Seemed like the kind of waitress that youd get in IHOP, not Bonefish. Just sayin....strange really. Stood over me with her arms crossed until I quit eating and got my credit card out. Dont mean to insult IHOP, sorry.

We really had limited time so worried after reading service could be slow. Well 6 of us were out within the hour for dinner and desert! Food really excellent, as my husband said very consistent across the board. Fillet mignon just perfect, fish very good and the tempura fish and chips outstanding. Desserts huge and delicious. Very reasonably priced for quality of food. A tip though, we ordered drinks at the bar off the bat, told the lovely barman we had limited time. He told us to sit at the spacious high top in the bar area and sent the waitress straight over. We ordered quickly. 2 adults and four teenagers... Sit in the bar area. The restaurant itself would be much slower and full of much older people.

Very disappointing brunch experience. My wife has celiac disease so she cannot eat gluten. She ordered an omelet with potatoes and let the waitress know she needs the meal to be gluten free. Her meal was brought out with bread crumbs on top of her potatoes. We had to send the plate back, they then told us the potatoes were not gluten free. They brought the plate back with the potatoes just scraped off the plate. We had to send it back again because there were bread crumbs on the omelet. My wife ended up eating a tiny omelet for brunch. The portions in general are extremely small for what we were charged.

Disappointed. I went in because the place was highly recommend. I ordered the sea scallops and shrimp and upgraded to the oscar style signature sauce. The scallops were by far the best on the plate, my sides were okay but the Oscar Style signature sauce was a letdown. It came with asparagus that was very mushy just way too overcooked, and the shrimp while flavorful was very dry and chewy. If the meal wouldve been half-priced I would expect this quality but for $30 it was unacceptable. The service was fine and the ambiance was nice. The portion was good just wasnt happy with the quality of the food.

I just had lunch at the Bone Fish Grill. It was, as usual, very good, however, one thing that they took off the menu was the soft shelled fish taco. We ordered the crispy won ton taco shell, which is not nearly as good as the soft shelled fish taco. PLEASE BRING BACK THE SOFT SHELL TACO!! My lunch partner and I went specifically to Bone Fish Grill for the soft shelled soft taco. The won ton shell is too messy and not as tasty. Maybe you could give customers a choice between the soft and crispy. I give Bone Fish Grill a 4-star rating because of not offering the soft shelled fish taco.

I hate giving poor reviews but I think 2 stars is appropriate here. My wife and I had extremely poor service and it pretty much wrecked the whole night. Our waitress was rude from start to finish. She started by telling us that she may or may not be there all night. My steak was over cooked and my side was wrong. Not one time were we asked how the food was which seems to be customary at most places. Our drink glasses were empty through 80% of our meal. I rarely complain but this was supposed to a great night out that was ruined by a rude and indifferent young girl.

This has been our go to restaurant for a long time. Dont know what happened to it. Food quality is not as good and some staff need basic training. Had the lamb (one of my favorite meals) had no flavor and over cooked. Seared tuna - fish was not fresh (also a favorite and normally delicious), filet with shrimp skewer, both were under seasoned and over done. Total bill was $140+ for two people and no cocktails. We may as well gone to Applebees and saved a hundred $. I gave an extra star for the mashed potatoes and bread. I hope they can get back to their old standards.
