My better half and I had a terrible experience about 2wks ago. We were greeted when we walked in and was seated in a both like we wanted but when we got our waitress we were COMPLETELY IGNORED. The waitress (who was an older woman named Pauline) gave us the the wait a minute finger a couple different times while I waited to put my order in. At this time we needed refills and to place our orders. She still insisted we wait and continued to help her other tables and not just once each, multiple times each. I then put both cups on the coasters half on and half off the edge of the table in hopes to get her attention but she still ignored us. When she did finally come to us she just took our cups and walked off... I had to stop her and tell her we wanted refills of our drinks because I knew she wouldnt bring them as one of the drinks was alcohol and we wanted to place our order. It then took her several minutes to return with our drinks and appetizer she wasnt even the one to bring them! Then our food came out and she was nowhere to be seen as the other staff served my food. I never saw her again. The lobster and crab I had were were okay, the salmon was good, scampi great and my better halfs coconut shrimp was great but not to par with Joes. The manager (Mallory) came by to check on our table and I told her how my service and food was and she wanted to credit my meal $25 with a free desert but I declined and insisted that I pay for my meal and that I just wasnt going to tip the waitress AT ALL. The manager nicely insisted that I take the offer but I declined. The manager then came back and informed us that our ENTIRE Check was taken care of, (mind you it was roughly $120 or more) and that she still wanted to give us a $25 gift card to return back for another chance as I told her my business will stay with Joes Crab Shack and I wasnt coming back. I didnt want the offer but I kinda didnt get the say n Im definitely not trying to complain about that, but the food was ok and I would have gladly paid for it as I ate EVERY SINGLE BITE with no leftovers and I had A LOT of food. So I took it lol, and I return that weekend. The manager wasnt there but the service was SPECTACULAR form (Aaron) hope I spelled it right :) He constantly checked on us, kept up with refills and was very respectful and respectable. Helped find the most cost effective way to pick my meal as I eat a lot and it can add up quick here. This time I had the salmon, seafood stuffed lobster tail, a steak, 7 piece scampi, side of butter squash with carrots and the green beans with mushrooms while my lady had the Lobster tacos I believe and everything this time was WONDERFUL! I still ate everything! :) I will eat here again thank you for making it more than right Red Lobster team, manager Mallory & server Aaron!

I thought we would give this location a second chance. I love my Red Lobster in Joplin,Mo. I travel a lot and have been to a couple dozen locations. The first time the coconut shrimp was overdone and almost burnt. My daughts food and grandchildrens food were equally disappointing. The lady who waited on us was rude. Once she dropped off the food we never saw her again until she left us the bill. This time the restraunt was out of all fish but salmon. When everyone else found something to order, I decided just to pass on the food they found two pieces of fish. Probably something they were going to toss out but figured they could fix anyway. The fish had a bad flavor. The childrens shrimp, the breading was over done and hard. My daughters pasta tasted like something from the microwave section. We all went home praying we were not going to get sick. We left over half of the food. The coke was good and so was the biscuits. You probably lost me as a customer this time for a long time. Took five months the last time to wipe my memory that last time. Dont you have quality control, like maybe a manager that says if you wouldnt eat it dont serve it?

My kids have been driving me crazy to go to Red Lobster. Seeing as they have never been, we planned to go last night. Now, I do not eat seafood. Not too many options on the menu for land food but I really wasnt expecting much. The drink my wife ordered was pretty good, but my salad was soaked with dressing and tasted like mayonnaise. The soup was not the best, but my child ate it for me, so we are good there. But the entrees... I ordered the NY strip. It was gross. My wife ordered the coconut shrimp, she ate one. My two oldest ordered the kids lobster, neither one ate it because it was extremely slimy. Even made my oldest feel sick from trying to swallow the meat. My youngest ordered popcorn shrimp, kinda hard to go wrong there, but she still didnt eat it. The best part of my meal was the tiny brownie they brought out at the end, was just enough for us all to take a bite!! In all, I spent $120 and no one ate.

I just took my family out to eat at the Red Lobster @ 4925 N. Academy Blvd. Colorado Springs, CO. and had the best service that I have experienced in a very long time. Our servers name was Joan, and she was, as the saying goes "Johnny on the spot", every time we needed or wanted something she was right there. The food was also excellent and very filling, My son had the Dueling Lobster, my Wife and Brother-in-law had Lobster Lovers Dream and I had the Surf and Turf with a large portion of strip steak. I did have to send the steak back to be cooked a little more, but that was because I under ordered it, once I got it back, it was so moist and tender, I was almost able to cut it without a knife. Red Lobster is a little on the pricey side but for the quality and the amount of food we received, and not to over mention it but the + + service made it well worth the money. Thank You Joan.

First off.. offer your customers water! I enjoyed my Pina-colada, but it would have been nice to have a glass of water.. next offer appitizer.. I had to stop my server from leaving to get it ordered.. next please dont bring the appitizer and salad at the same time.. the salad got soggy while we were trying to eat the appitizer, next please allow enough time to finish the appitizer before you bring the meal, we ended up skipping the salad completely. PLEASE take away plates that are empty, I shouldnt have to stack them on the edge of the table and watch you walk by without a care while they just stack on up.. Please act a little more professional, I believe in a upbeat atmosphere, but yelling back and forth from the sitting area to the bar?.. the only reason you are getting two stars is because the main course was very tasty..
