Went to eat with my cousin. The waitress looked at us funny and didnt say anything. We sat down in a table, and waited about 30-45 seconds. Nobody told us anything and the man sitting in front looked at us and then looked down. I felt like they were having a Donald trump discussion before we got there. I hate to play the racist card, but the 2016 diesel truck we drove up in reflects that we are not taking nobodys job nor are we underbidding the whites. All it says is were hard workers. We even walked out slowly to see if the waitress would offer us a menu or a chair. We were polite about the whole visit, which is why Im writing this review. Wouldnt want this to happen to any of my fellow mexican American, Latino, or mexican citizen who fought so hard to become a citizen and getting treated as a criminal.

When the same overweight country bumpkin that handles the gas station maintenance (with greasy, filthy black hands he wiped on his shirt and pants) also handles the food and brings it to your table without washing up, you end up losing your appetite for the mediocre food. Given this isnt a 3rd-world country, and we have plenty of water for cleanliness and to avoid spreading germs, washing up before handling and serving food is presumed to be the practice. Ill never go back. Blech!

I tried just about everything on the menu here while I was visiting Portland and it was all VERY good. The red potatoes, hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, biscuits and jelly, eggs (over medium), bacon, corned beef hash, and even the coffee.....that was in 2 visits!!! That was a week and a half ago and Im still working it off. Gooooood stuff.

We are under a new manager now. We are making home made food and cakes and pies. Making homemade food like beans and ham,corn bread,fried tatoos with onions and fried chicken,homemade soups,chicken noodle,veg beef,homemade dumplings,we have alot on hand but we do alot on certain days. Stop in and try us out you will leave pleased....

Decent food, portions were on the small side but not ridiculously so. I would be surprised if the place passed a health inspection due to many missing ceiling tiles and roof leaks. Service was decent. I might eat here again

Food was ok. The service is so so. We got our check 5 minutes before our food. Waitress said it was because of the kind of day she was having. Other times i have been here the service was better. Hit or miss on service.

We sat down in a booth, where a mouse ran by. Also hair in salad, server was glum and completely annoyed to be working for whatever reason. If I could give no stars or a 1/2 a star thats what they would get!

Food is good and large portions.... the only downfall is a waitress I had was definitely on something... she dropped and broke a coffee cup and kept walking around it before she picked it up

Old school and needs some work but I eat biscuits and gravy everywhere and they have pretty good biscuits and gravy now if I say there awesome that is a place to eat them 24/7

Building is older but food and service was awesome. Im a picky eater so I have to compliment when I find a good one. Had the New York Strip... Great flavor and tender!!
