After 17 years in the Springs, I bought a house on the Mesa, and have been trying out many of the local restaurant offerings in Pueblo. Ive passed this place several times and wanted to check it out. Im so glad I did! Beautiful authentic street tacos on tiny corn tortillas. We got the carne asada and a mixed plate, with several different types of meat street tacos. Us being new, the person who took our order was helpful and explained everything, as well as our choices. You can tell this is a family restaurant. Lots of love in the making. We ended up with plates featuring fresh made chips, guacamole, rice and beans, and a variety of tacos on small delicious corn tortillas. All of the meat was spiced and cooked well. Theres a salsa bar with many choices, all home made. Its an informal, family atmosphere, where you sit where you like, with a generous roll of paper towels, to help with the delicious drippings. If you are visiting Pueblo, please give this place a try. Ill be bringing my family here when they visit this summer.

The hours of operation are quite limited. The atmosphere is real basic and quite unappealing. DO NOT EXPECT A KING TACO AS ESTABLISHED IN LOS ANGELES! The name has apparently changed & is somewhat confusing to locate. The food is mediocre at best and not even a good value for the quality and portion. Im quite disturbed that a 5 star rating & the capitalization of a famous established name lured us in. Theres NO WAY that we can recommend this restaurant.

King Taco is a very good place to eat you can eat there by yourself or take the family out to eat good old fashioned Mexican Meal and it wont cost you a arm and a leg. Food is cook fresh every day and is made with Love. Place is a cozy and very friendly place to enjoy your meal or you can take out your or set or call it in for take out? No matter what you will enjoy a good hot fresh meal. Just to let you know they dont serve Liquor at this restaurant.

Wrong name on the sign or here but dont let that scare you away. Only had the tacos and a cheese quesadilla and both were very good. Friend got a monster burrito and it was HUGE, minimum two meals from it. Dont live here but if ever back in the area I will be stopping by. Carnitas wasnt that good, stick with some of the other meats.

Went based off the other reviews and I wasnt mad one bit. A little off course for the travel I was doing but Im glad I made the detour. We tried the tacos ilegales and the crispy tacos plate. Just a heads up, the crispy tacos are on fried flour tortillas not corn tortillas. Prices were just as good as the food. Check it out!

I fell in love with this place. Im not sure Id go there after the sun goes down as the neighborhood is a bit "hinky" But if you want real deal Mexican, you have tio make this a stop. I asked someone from the Chamber where theyd go (knowing Id get someone who advertises with them) and she whispered "King Taco"

Im from LA and moved to CO springs recently and I just cant seem to find LEGIT, AUTHENTIC tacos in the city.... had the buche tacos here and they remind me of home!! Staff is really friendly too. Definitely coming back.
