Pretty good food, I like the location. Its fun. Buddy had the special and it looked REALLY good. However its also a little too snooty and whiny for my taste. I came in early waiting for a friend, and though I knew you went to the register to order, not one employee, sometimes standing a few feet away with nothing else to do, ever mentioned that, nor said a word of greeting. They seem to take pride in no tip in lieu of a "living wage" and giving back to earth and recycling and no fountain drinks because bad something something. News flash - sometimes we just want to grab a bite to eat and not be preached at about the right and wrong of society. Is that so wrong? Just bring me my dim sum and shut up.

The food seems to be made with really quality ingredients. The decor is great inside and has a great patio outside at the beautiful train station. The menu is very limited, a couple dim sum items and a couple noodle bowels. They have different bowls avalible depending on the day. When I went in was only one special so only like 5 dishes to choose from. They dont take tips instead charge 15% automatically unless you choose to opt out, which a sign says it supports a lot of things. I didnt really care for the only one refils especially for tea and when my ticket was 20$ for only myself. The owner was a man who took my order and was incredibly nice. I highly recommend the pork bun!!!

My girlfriend and I visited the downtown location with no expectations and left with full bellies and smiling faces. Ma Ma herself was running the cash register and although she was visibly busy, she was very kind and patient with us newbies. My girlfriend is a vegetarian and tried the momos and vegetable medley dish, I tried the potstickers and CPR. The food came out fast and for me personally, was the one of the best chicken and rice dishes Ive ever had. We were very pleased with the other dishes as well, and were even happier only spending about $20 for everything. I thanked Ma Ma on the way out and definitely plan to return when I come back to Denver

Ive been going to the Zoe Ma Ma in Boulder for years and their new location makes the same delicious food. I gave the Boulder location 5/5 stars because its truly the best Chinese food in town and some of the best that Ive ever had. I was a little torn on how to rate the new location. The new space is WAY bigger and nicely decorated, but that gives it too much of a corporate feel to me. I love going to the dinky place in Boulder run by Zoe (the owner) and members of her family. There was not a single Asian person that I saw working at the new location, which is fine, but it loses a bit of the family-owned charm.

Zoe Ma Ma is one of my favorite places to eat in Boulder so I was psyched to see there was one in Denver. Unfortunately it isnt even close to the same...The Szechuan Beef soup that is normally amazingly flavorful and delicious was a bland, watered down version of what I had described to my friend on our way there. I have eaten at the Boulder location at least 20 times and NEVER been dissapointed like this. That soup is famous and what they served us was a far cry from Ma Mas intended creation. Go to the Boulder location on Pearl street or just dont even bother going.

This is the Denver outpost of Boulders amazing spot for Chinese street food. Hidden between 16th St. and Union Station (on the other side of the building from Protein Bar), this place is going to be packed constantly once the hipsters discover it. They have amazing steamed buns (bao) and dumplings, the homemade noodles are definitely something to write home about (to your own "mama" no doubt), and the hot and sour soup is like a delicious shitake explosion. Im sure there are other awesome things to try here... I havent been disappointed yet.

If I could just rate the food it would be 10 stars! I ordered a pork bun and 10 potstickers to share with my family. Food tasted great! But we waited a half hour for two items and other orders after ours were being cooked first and served first. We were not pleased with the customer service and no one apologized for the mix up and wait time. We sat right in front of the pick up counter waiting patiently as our order was to go! That being said I would go back if Im ever in Denver again because the food was really good.

So good! I taught English in Sichuan, China for a summer and this is some of the most familiar tasting Chinese food Ive had since I left. The noodle bowls and buns are delicious, and their sauces are incredible. That true Sichuan peppercorn flavor is so hard to find here! Its pretty no-frills, order from the counter and serve yourself, but the food comes so quickly. The owners are also really nice, they let me try a goji cake for free when they were out of sesame buns. Highly recommend this place!

This family owned restaurant originally started up in Boulder offers up authentic and genuinely good street eats from Taiwan. I love the fact that on any given day, you will actually see Zoe Ma Ma out and about making sure the restaurant is running in good order. The beef braised noodles and Dan Dan mian are among my favourites, but its hard to go wrong with the menu in general. Best of all, no need to tip as its included in their prices along with a sustainability fee. Love it!

much better when Zoe is actually there pretty big drop off in standards with newer staff - I had pork dumplings that had big pieces of char from a dirty pan stuck to each posticker. Never had that kind of food service before this new staff took the reigns (made up of what appear to be white college kids) utensils and cups were also not clean. When someone from the orginal Zoe staff is there it is 5 stars. When its the hipster/frat boy team , its 2.5-3 stars at best.

Its not authentic at all. We ordered Dan Dan Mian and beef noodles soup. The noodles are no where near what authentic noodles should be, not to mention the soup. They do not taste good at all. If youre seeking authentic ones, pass this one. They also automatically add 15% tips to your bill, which is nonsense, they only take your orders and youre mainly self-serviced. BTW its not easy to find a fair parking in the neighborhood. Any way, not worth it.

Hands down the worst meal Ive paid for in years. The potstickers tasted like they had been in the warmer for hours. The bau tasted like it was straight from the freezer. Almost all the tables were covered in dirty dishes. We waited 20 minutes for the second half of our order before we just asked for our money back. I understand that we may have just caught them on a bad night, but it was bad enough that Ill definitely never be back there again.

I was a huge fan of this restaurant in Boulder, and was excited to see a location open up near Union Station. Their Dim Sum menu is to die for, so be sure to try out the potsticker, pearl meatballs, and Bao. And dont forget to get a cup of their Jasmine Tea to go along with your meal. My only complaint is that youll want to order multiples of their Dim Sum menu as each order is for 1 item. This can get expensive quick. But its so worth it.
