Save your money. Sesame chicken was a pile of tasteless greasy meat with too much batter. Found the "sauce" on the bottom halfway through but it was soaked up mostly by pointless crunchy noodles. Hot and sour soup flavor was awful. Egg rolls were yucky, spring rolls not much better. Wonton soup meat flavor not good and noodles way overcooked. Garlic chicken was breaded chicken fingers sliced up with a overly salty thick sauce on it. WTF was that supposed to be. No veggies with either chicken meal. I had to order veggies separately and those were just in a boring white sauce. Also tried dumplings appetizer. Gross. No sauce to dip in either! I didnt try the white rice but Im guessing it was lame also. Never again.

I have loved this place for 20 years... It remarkable that a Chinese restaurant that is the size of a small one car garage, can be successful for almost 40 years with no updates, remodels, change in ownership and still consistently makes Chinese food that I crave. My favs are the Garlic Chicken, their BIG FAT egg rolls, their crab-cheese wantons, their chicken fried rice and hot and sour soup..... The garlic chicken is awesome and huge! Their meat egg-rolls are very big and yummy...their wantons are light and flaky and their chicken fried rice is so awesome... I sometimes order the rice and an egg roll for lunch and still have leftovers because the serving sizes are huge. Try it- its so good!

My family and I have been eating here since 1995. The happy family, Mongolian beef, sweet and sour pork, combonation lo mein, hot and spicy chicken, thier famous garlic chicken, cashew chicken and eggrolls are amazing and have been consistently amazing! The fried shrimp rolls, eggrolls and wontons are all very good, and I have to sa the eggdrop soup is my favorite in Denver. I see alot of hatful reviews that are very untrue, they havent changed owners it has always been the same family. No it is not fancy it is just a family style Chinese place with good prices.

Great food does not need to expensive. I lived a couple blocks away during college, being of asian (mixed) decent i have ate great chinese food from san fran(where we are from-outside asia) to la, japan singapore etc. The proprietors here are absolute wok stars. As my cuacasian wife said they are" rockin the wok". I have been gone, living in portland for 4 years(they have better japanese food by a wide margin) but still dream of the perfect dish--the shrimp lo mein.

You figure this would get old and be over but my first time in, I wanted the need chow mein, the guy didnt think I knew what it was and tried explaining it to me and I told him I aware of what it is. He thought I meant beef lo mein, so that what he gave me. As an employee you dont give the customer what you want, you give them what they ask for. Completely judgemental people, I rather go to Panda express.

New owner made the big delicious egg rolls that WE ALL HAVE KNOWN AND LOVED FOR YEARS AND YEARS into tiny sad little baby rolls. Oh its the same recipe, sure.. But who wants little jimmy egg roll when you could have BIG POPPA EGG ROLL for the same damn price?!? You guys went from hero to zero in this town. Bring the fatty rolls back or you will suffer 1000 years of misfortune and stinky egg rolls.

I have been here a quite a few times. I know it is a hole in the wall the food is amazing. I really love the workers they are very very sweet. Everyone talks about the decor. Yes it is extremely small but it is what they can afford. Im sure as business picks up any more then it already has they might have no choice but to move. but i love this place and wouldnt change it for the world.

Best Chinese food in Denver! Been going here for 20 years! For all the negative review writers out there, stick to you nasty Panda Express. This is the real deal, I always get the Chicken Lo-mein and crab cheese wontons, and an order of beef and broccoli. When youve been going to a place this long you know what they do right! I will always recommend this place!

MY FAVORITE CHINESE FOOD RESTAURANT IN CO. So in addition to amazing food, especially the egg rolls, the prices are just fantastic. The Chicken Chow Mein is a little on the salty side, but seriously good. I especially recommend the sesame chicken if you like it! I wish it were closer to my house, but then Id spend all my money there all the time haha.

Super generous portions, and really great food! We did a pick up order, it was ready in ten minutes. Our food was hot, my sweet and sour chicken was still crispy! I was reading previous reviews, and here was mention of massive egg rolls. I wasnt prepared for how ridiculously gigantic they really are. They are also delicious. Will definitely be back!

Horrible Chinese food, VERY disappointed! Egg rolls are like cabbage fried in a wonton wrapper, no flavor, blah. Had the Chow Mein, boring lots of cabbage and fatty pieces of chicken dumped on the dry, crunchy noodles, again ...blah. Fried rice ok, no flavor, more blah. You get what you pay for...and not even that sometimes.

I have been there several times, the food is ok for the price. The place is very small and they have boxes of supplies stored wherever there is room. However the prices are very reasonable and we love the wontons ! The parking is also an issue, its normally very hard to find a spot....other than that, give it a shot !

A year ago, no complaints. A month ago I had beef fried rice. I dont believe it was beef, and so awful i threw out the mystery meat slices. I returned again and ordered shrimp fried rice. At home, i found they used chicken instead. They included chopped bone fragments and large chunks of chicken fat mixed in.

I was just looking at restaurants near my home and decided to comment on Lotus Kitchen. We have gone there for years and everything you try there is excellent. Everyone in our family wants to get Lotus for dinner when they visit. Call in for your order. Only complaint is parking but its worth it.

The best Chinese food in the area. A hole-in-the-wall with outstanding food and low prices. Try the Hot and Sour soup and youll be convinced. Excellent combination choices. Always busy, so its best to pick up a menu and phone ahead. A large and devoted customer base, getting bigger all the time.

The food was gross. I ordered vegetable lo mein and there were chunks of meat in it. The vegetables all tasted funny. My mom got the cashew chicken and ended up feeding the chicken to my dog because she said it tasted so bad. True, the prices are low, but in this case you get what you pay for.
