These guys are the worst, at first it seemed pretty awesome until you actually get up on the track and start racing where they have these teenagers running the show that will talk down to you and act like they are in charge of the whole world.. almost to the point its comical and if you bring the situation up to the management they ask you to leave the facility and put your picture up on all the monitors and in big bold letters "BANNED FROM UNCER RACING." For my situation one of the track monitors Mathew actually jumped out on the track where I almost ran him over and he started pointing and screaming at me about making contact with another car and said "If you ever make contact with another car again I SWEAR TO GOD!!!" and then stormed off. Then when I got the manager Donald and tried to calmly address the issue with him and Mathew I was asked to leave (admittedly I did get pissed at that point). ZERO professionalism, ZERO customer service. Then when I called and talked to the general manager Taylor I specifically stated several times I didnt care about getting the ban reversed because not only was that not what the conversation was about but also no matter what I would never return to their facility again anyway, he basically said "our house our rules" and wouldnt stop telling me he wouldnt reverse the ban *SIGH* and then when I asked about the public humiliation tactic with plastering my picture up on all the monitors in the facility he told me that was their way of making sure everyone on his staff knows I was banned so I would not be allowed back in. These guys are clowns and dont deserve your business STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE. I would recommend trying K1 racing or even those slow kiddie carts at Boondocks before even entertaining the idea of paying good money to be treated like trash by a bunch of kids @ Uncer. One other thing, while talking to Taylor who did not even attempt to remedy the problem I had, I was also made aware that Donalds report was a nearly complete fabrication because Taylor told me he said I was throwing things and knocking stuff over as I was escorted out of the building... hopefully he actually does look at the video and sees that not only did that not happen but I also hope he actually looks at the video of the guy that ran into the wall who also admitted to them that I didnt ram him and it was his own fault which was the cause of the whole incident starting with Mathew jumping in front of my car and screaming at me... which by the way he did admit after the fact that he didnt actually see me do, he just saw the end result and assumed I rammed him.... prolly put the cell phone down buddy... I saw you on that more than I saw you watching the track. (owner)... I already know what you are going to say when you read and respond to this just based on the plethora of others who have left one star ratings because of nearly the exact same experience.... your staff sucks, you clowns have absolutely no clue about professionalism or customer service and neither do your managers. Your facility and the service you offer have the potential to be absolutely amazing but until you guys even start to grasp the concept of customer service, professionalism and leadership you will stay at about the same level of success you are at now and will grow no further and are more likely to suffer from it because more and more people like me are going to continue to tell everyone we know to stay away. I already know The disabled veterans group I work with who was planning to do a 30 person wounded warrior event at your facility are looking to take our business elsewhere after this incident..... and I personally will stop bringing people who are family and friends from other states to your facility when they come to visit. 9/8/2016. The owner responded and was about what I expected it would be. As I previously stated, your guy lied. no one was threatened, nothing was damaged no one was mistreated in anyway except a paying customer. If I was in fact threatening... why wasnt the police called? lies...

Review for the outdoor track and facility at Unser Centennial. THE GOOD: The track is long for karting, adding to the sense of really going somewhere... as fast as you can! The track is technical enough to challenge your skills... and it will keep challenging you... to perfect your lines, to carry more speed in corners, to get a clean exit from the hairpin when you KNOW you went in too hot! :) The track is outside, so there are also elevation changes and cambers adding to the fun. Their regular rental karts are plenty fast for the track. Once youre going fast, you will be completely off the gas ONCE per lap! THEIR STAFF was fantastic! We were two guys on a road trip wanting to race A LOT over the course of two days. I called ahead and spoke to Shane (Manager) who was excited to hear about our plans. Upon arrival he greeted us in person and for the rest of our two days there, Shane and his guys treated us like friends. They were cool to hang out with, happy to answer questions, and seemed genuinely excited to see us improve and get faster! The calm and relaxed atmosphere they create is great. We did 11 races the first day and 6 races the next, for a total of 17(!) races each. You want to feel exhausted in a GOOD way at the end of your day?! Do 11 races in a day! :D My best time on the full track: 1:18.6. My buddy did a 1:19.1. Both respectable times. THE BAD: Some inconsistencies in the karts, with some faster than others. The staff are aware and working hard to create a more even baseline. Some other visitors didnt follow the rules on track. Staff could be better at enforcing rules right away, and be more willing to pull drivers off the course for verbal instructions if needed. I also believe that some immediate feedback after a race would correct some of this behavior, could be easily done when handing drivers their lap-time sheets. OVERALL: A fantastic experience. If you read this review all the way through, then what are you waiting for?! We were so satisfied that we wrote down several names, the key players that made our two days so great. This review, along with the list of names will be sent to Unser management. Dear Unser management, please make sure your guys get rewarded for being so awesome!

There are two parts to the reasoning behind my review, the actual track/karts and the responsibility of management. Track/Karts- if not for my experience with how it is run, I would have easily given a 4 star review. The track is a bit short and lacks straightaways for easier passing (they advertise its great for beginner/intermediate drivers, but it really isnt conducive if trying to pass a slower driver), but overall it adds some difficulty to the track which makes it more exciting. The karts are great especially considering the speed of most other places are rather slow. The track is extremely slick so spin outs can be frequent for the inexperienced/speed demon driver. Outside of my experience below, it was a fun time and MIGHT consider going back. Now onto the HORRIBLE... We were lucky enough to be graced by the presence of "Freakin Rican", the local who must spend all of his time here and holds the track record. Not only did the guy hit other people an absurd amount of times (10 on myself and 14 year old visiting brother, plus numerous times I saw him hit other drivers in 2 races), but he also failed to show ANY remorse or apologize. I ended up with multiple back bruises and a bone bruise right on my spine. While management was kind enough to offer us a free private race, little to nothing appeared to be done to punish this idiot who has the ability to do SEVERE damage to other drivers with his neglect while driving at 35-45 mph. During the training that all drivers must attend, one of the first things listed is "Any contact/bumping, intentional or unintentional, may result in an automatic ejection without a refund." Allowing him to hit other people a minimum of 5 times and not do ANYTHING other than a "hey, be careful" slap on the wrist, and then do nothing when he ignored them is just poor safety management. Yes we signed a waiver, but that doesnt mean this person should be above the rules. I gave them a call after getting home to inform them of the bodily damage this reckless driver caused and can only hope something will be done to protect ALL drivers who decide to go.
