Delightfully Gnarly
Yum! We caught them at the tail end of their business day as they were about to close but they stopped cleaning up to chat with us as we made our selection. Nice people! It was 12:45 on a Sunday afternoon and they had one tray of donuts left - we picked up a blueberry old-fashioned, red velvet cake-style with chocolate icing, raised with lemon poppyseed glaze, chocolate cake-style with chocolate frosting, chocolate cake-style with chocolate frosting topped with peanuts and raised doughnut with turtle pretzels on top. We could tell that they were freshly made from the first bite. My favorite was the blueberry old-fashioned. At first I was disappointed when I realized the blueberry is only in the glaze but after I bit into it my mouth was happy! It is a perfect balance - just sweet enough blueberry glaze over fresh (buttermilk?) cake with crisp bits around the edges. Mmmm! My husbands favorite was the red velvet. He made the comment that he liked that the donuts arent dipped entirely in glaze. I agree. It also makes it harder to stop eating them because they arent overly sweet. We came home with seven doughnuts and have two left. I am sitting here staring at them trying to restrain myself. We like that this is a locally-owned business near our house! Highly recommend :)

Jeff and his wife took care of me at Holy Donuts. I had a large order for 6 dozen donuts that they were able to fill. They have a very small shop so they need 48 hours notice on large orders. I purchased these donuts for the donut club at work. I personally had the lemon poppy seed cake donut and it was terrific. Here are some of the other unsolicited responses that I received from coworkers: "The blueberry cake was fabulous" , "The lemon poppy seed was amazing", "[these donuts were] a nice Friday treat", "You the man!" [for bringing these donuts to work]. Our donut club has seen a thousand donuts so reviews like these are hard to come by. Skip King Soopers, Lamars, and Krispy Kreme this weekend and go try one of these donuts!

This place is heavenly! The donuts are all incredibly fresh, soft and delicious! I bought a dozen and while it is a little more pricey then say your traditional chain stores it is worth every penny! Homemade donuts that arent massed produced cant be beat! All the flavors were delicious the blueberry and blueberry Bismarck are by far my favorites!!! We will for sure be going back! Thank you Holy Donuts for bringing something original and delicious to Northglenn we need more stores like that here!!

First, the owners are super nice and patient. It took my husband and I at least 10 minutes to figure out what we wanted and not once did they seem impatient with us. They were all around just absolutely sweet. Second, the selection is out of this world. So much to choose from (hence why it took us 10 minutes to choose). The donuts are soft and just absolutely delicious! We are definitely going to be repeat customers!

Very friendly owners. Good variety of yeast and cake donuts. Tried a few cake donuts, but it did not wow my taste buds; I did come at the end of the day so maybe being there first thing at opening may be better. Could only taste the heavy sugar and excessive stale oil; donut was soft. It is great to support a small, family business and would still recommend trying it out.

The quality and taste of the donuts are top notch. You will be hard pressed to find better tasting donuts anywhere. Get there early and support a small family business and treat yourself to a fresh, tasty donut. You will not be disappointed. There should be one of these in every town.

Not much selection. Donut wasnt that good & over-priced at $1.80. Nowhere to sit inside & tables/chairs outside are cheap plastic. Atmosphere outside is horrendous & noisy. Also, there was a hoop earring laying at the register that grossed me out. I wont be going back.

These donuts are ah-mazing ! I got the dark roast coffee too and it was perfection . The staff was so friendly and sweet to my four-year-old son. They had a fruity pebbles donut there and my son flipped for them! Definitely recommend this place !so cute

Coffee is SPECTACULAR! Cant really speak to the donuts as Ive only tried an apple fritter once. However, the owners are very pleasant and its nice to see the same faces each time. But the coffee alone has made me a loyal customer.

This our preferred donut shop! The donuts are always fresh and super tasty! The raised donuts are so soft and rich, they taste like a cake donut. My daugther had the Nutella Bismark and it was delicious.
