It seems that people consuming non-alcoholic drinks are ignored and unappreciated... In on a Thursday night with people from my office. I dont drink, and ordered a soda. No refills were offered and the irritation was evident from the bartender when I asked for a refill. I had planned to order food, but after five minutes of standing at the bar, menu open, looking up expectantly toward BOTH bartenders, I grew weary of the poor service and being ignored. I stepped away to say hello to someone, and my menu was IMMEDIATELY pulled. It seems they WERE paying attention to me, just choosing to not serve the guy who ordered a Coca-Cola instead of a beer. Poor attitudes and poor service do not make for a good experience. Its unfortunate for a place to look at a non-drinker with such disdain, because repeat business is not always tied to alcohol consumption. I hope this is an off night, but Ive had difficulty getting refills on a soda in the past. Ignoring customers, regardless of their order, is always a poor business practice. Not being able to order a burger just shows that this isnt an isolated incident, but rather, a habit. Highest recommendation to AVOID.

I normally dont write to many bad reviews but tell me why I keep coming back to this place.. I have been here 4 times and every single time there is a tiny situation that makes me realize that the service here is probably the worst in the city!! I really want to like this place the atmosphere has so much potential. I asked for a side of ketchup with my fries because there wasnt any on the table I literally seen her leave my table and walk up next to another co worker and people watch long enough for me to go get it from the bar myself without her noticing. When she brought some over I was easily half way finished with my meal. Oh and what about the time the amazon lady at the bar wouldnt give me quarters to play at the pool table because she said she was to low and needed them. WTF is that all about. Its a bummer but i dont think I can ever give this place a chance again... :( Joe the cook is the only person worth keeping...

Buffalo, NY sports bar right in the middle of the 16th Street action. Went on a busy Saturday, and managed to get seated quickly. Service was friendly, but slow. Food was pretty typical East Coast bar food. I thought the Cobb Salad was decent. I like how they did not mix it, as that really showed off that the ingredients were all there and decently prepared. Buffalo wings were okay, but not as good as they are in Buffalo. My wifes burger looked good, and the waffle fries were okay, but seemed like they were from a frozen bag. Lots of sports on the many, many TVs and lots of games to play. The bar looked busy, and there was a band starting up as we headed out. Probably best for grabbing some beers and taking a break form the 16th Street mayhem. Not that great for a meal, but it will fill you up at a decent price.

"What if casual dining food were actually good?" Im not sure if Back East is deliberately exploring that question, but they sure are providing an answer. Its like stepping into an alternate universe where the menu is _like_ something from Americas most ubiquitous suburban hellhole chains, except: wow. I think theyve currently got the best fish & chips in the city. Just about everything seems to be made in house to a level that feels like a restaurant, hidden beneath the veneer of yet-another-mall-bar (and they also serve up live music, killer Monday-night draught prices, etc). This is a good place, and its on the mall, and I can barely understand how that worked out, but Im grateful.

I would recommend if youre looking for a sports bar to catch a game, have a drink and grab some decent food. The place was not crowded on a Tues night. There are plenty of TVs, so no trouble getting your game on a TV near an open seat. The bartender was friendly and helpful. I had a Wicked Spicy Burger and broccoli, which were both prepared perfectly and tasted great. The price was appropriate for the quality. There was a decent selection of beers on tap and a full bar. It is not a high end sports bar, so a couple of the patrons were a little rough. I am a small female and was there by myself. Regardless, I felt comfortable and safe there by myself.

Average to below average food, and way below average service. I have been here three times for lunch during work. The wait staff has been slow and unfriendly, and the food has been mediocre or bad each time. We just ate there today and it took 25 minutes to get and pay for our check. This will not work for business lunches, so we will never be back. This place already has a lot going against it since it is upstairs from the mall, so they will need to up their game with friendlier, faster service and better prepared food if they are going to survive very long. We have seen two other restaurants fail in this location for similar reasons.

I walked in at 4:15 on a hot day looking for a cold beer. Not too many people inside and almost all were sitting at the bar. I sat and waited patiently for 5 minutes before I was even greeted and the bartender said hed be right back. No water, no menu. I waited for another 15 minutes only because I had a bottled water in a bag. I sat and drank my water and not ONE employee came to serve me. I decided to leave and noticed a waitress leaning against the bar looking like she was bored and needed something to do. Maybe she could have served me. Oh well. This place wont last with service like this at this location. Never going back again.

Interesting bar located on the 16th st mall. Supposedly its been there for 1-2 years but I must of walked by 100 times without noticing it. Located on the second floor they have a large space full of bar games, pool, tvs, and a huge bar. When the sun is out, they open up the sides and windows and you can watch people walk the mall. Food was OK. If I go back here it will be for drinks and people watching, not food.

Surprise! This place will get you going on a him drum day! Youd think itd be douchrbag central, but with bartenders thatll make you squeal and food that is fresh, tasty, and gives your average bar food a nice touch of class, this place that Ive passed up for years will have me looking up while walking down 16th every single time. Big ups to Brett, the chill bartender that hooks up a martini perfectly!

Awful service. Food looked maybe okay but my food never showed up. When server finally came back 45 minutes later she said she had to go ask... Then came back and said they were out of what I ordered. Pretty sure they knew they were out when I first ordered but neglected to mention it. Others were done eating before I was told mine would never arrive. Wont be coming back.
