Great little place for high-scale bar food, great service, and good times. Unfortunately my sister and I recently had a bad experience - she requested no cheese and sure enough was brought a salad with cheese. My steak salad was just... bad. The steak was really unevenly cooked ranging from medium well to raw - not an exaggeration - some parts were cold and gelatinous. The server showed genuine sympathy and disappointment in the kitchen. He provided us with a new salad for her, but I refused a new one since the raw steak kind of killed my appetite. Why four stars you ask? Because the people there are awesome, and in this particular case while we fully intended of paying for everything, the server grabbed the manager and she approached us to tell us the tab was on her. Exceptional service and greatly appreciated. But dont let the quality of food in this situation deter you - typically the food is fantastic, and if youre into burgers I recommend The Glenn - its god damn delicious. They even have karaoke and/or trivia nights if youre into that. Theres a nice hidden patio in the back that is arguably bigger than the actual dining area, with a full bar as well. The only reason I deducted a star is because on a weekend evening the place gets insanely loud. If youre looking to have a rich conversation or do something romantic Id stay away on a Friday or Saturday night - youll find yourself borderline yelling to communicate. That, and in my humble opinion as an amateur foodie the prices can be pretty steep, even if the portion sizes typically leave you with a doggy bag. TL;DR: Had one bad experience, manager totally rectified it. Food is usually awesome, service is near flawless, karaoke and trivia are fun. Environment is quaint and warm but occasionally very loud. Food isnt cheap. Its worth checking out, and if youre in the area you know your other options are fast food, family buffet style garbage, and a CiCis pizza, if youre about to get evicted and have nine kids to feed. That is all.

I cant lie and say that this place was the best burger Ive ever had, but it was pretty darned good. The waitress said this place used to be a biker bar which is pretty cool. I ordered the Blue Cheese Burger and it came with good fries. I think this place is going for a neighborhood bar type look since they have like a trivia night and board games to play inside. The burger was ordered med and served nearly well done, but thats how it goes I guess. It was still really good, and the buns the burger came on were supposedly baked by a local baker (according to the menu). I see a lot of negative reviews here, but I really only got good things to say about this place. Im totally going back for a beer sometime...Cheers!

The Glenn is one of my favorite bars. Im Irish and fulfill the stereotype to a T. Ive been to pubs and bars in Boston, NY, Chicago, Dublin, and Cork. The food is great (fried pickles are fantastic), beer is cold, and the staff are top notch. The menu is diverse and the daily specials are a great value. The best thing about this joint is the clientele. Locals are warm and outgoing. The second you open the door and step onto the hardwood floor someone, patron or staff, greets you with a smile. By the way, the waitresses are not only great conversationalists, they arent hard to look at either. Just sayin... S. Fitz

The Glenn is a very nice neighborhood restaurant with delicious food, a clean, fun, and entertaining atmosphere, its a place I frequent often as its in my area. My only qualm about this restaurant is the service, it is consistently fair to poor. The wait staff is hit or miss, some are very good, but I would say the majority of them are far more concerned with entertaining thier patron friends rather than refilling glasses or checking in on youre experience. Nonetheless if youre willing to deal with that shortcoming its a fantastic place to eat, drink, or in the summer, enjoy the patio

The Glenn is our goto place for many occasions. From a patio to chill at with live music on a Friday night, to a brunch bar, to a Saturday afternoon hangout with board games, this place offers the best environment for any day if the week. Karaoke nights are awesome, and the food is NOT your average bar food. Its consistently GREAT food and the prices are fair. You literally cant go wrong here. Weve been to many places, and we always feel at home at the Glenn. The staff is always the same too, so I have to imagine they are treated right as well. Keep it up guys! !!

My husband and I decided to try this place last night for dinner. This was the WORST experience we had EVER had dinning out! And that says lot. We will NEVER return and will let any and everyone know about it. The Bartender was SO rude and the food was just mediocre! There is no excuse for atrocious service! That bartender should find another profession. She never gave us her name and our check just said 10042 Bar PM 5/28/2014 at 6:44pm. DO NOT RECOMEND!!!

Without a doubt my favorite local bar. Friendly staff, nice selection of beers on tap, great food especially the burgers and an awesome patio with outside bar. I would say the only thing that could improve is the service, sometimes the place gets packed and it takes a little time to get a drink, but nothing that will make me think any less of this place. Almost forgot to mention this place has some of the best karaoke around, Michael D is an amazing host.

The bartender working Wednesday nights is rudely nice. She checked my ID which is right but talked down to me. Im 23 and work in the bar business and I will never tell someone to order off the kids menu. She treated me as if I had no money. I like the Glenn and its a great bar but I will never be back if shes working. And on top of it it was 3 of us, she took one of our orders and walked away for 5 minutes and walked away and its not the first time.

This is a very nice venue. I was invited by a friend to see a great band called Wink. Not only was the venue fantastic outside, the food amazingly good but the talent was one of the best around as a great cover band. Ill be going back to this place is something not to be missed. You need to go out of your way if youre not familiar with the area but its well worth it not that far from downtown Denver and you will enjoy yourself very much.

The atmosphere is great, its very nice bar and grill, the food is great, and the drinks are even better, the price is mid range so not to expensive, they offer live bands, and always has something going on through out the week. The wait staff is beyond a 5 star rating they are personal without being overbearing or to nosey, extremely efficient. It is a great place if you dont want to dress up fancy, I love the casual atmosphere.

Watered down orange juice. I order chicken fried steak, eggs, hash browns and a Texas toast side. Eggs and hash browns were cold. The buck fifty single slice of toast was burnt on one side. How do you burn toast on one side????? Lots of people there and Im sure it was for the booze cuz the breakfast was awful. Wont go to this place again. On the positive side the server was nice!!
