I went to Royal Nepal at dinner time, after purchasing their LivingSocial voucher. I have not been impressed with the restaurant selection in this area, and was glad to see something I expected to enjoy. When I was seated, I showed the waiter my voucher, he looked at it and set it back down on the table and gave me a menu. Being a little adventurous by virtue of my voucher, I ordered some items I might not have normally selected or that wouldn’t be available at a lunch buffet. I ordered the meat samosas, the lamb masala, and the Roti bread. While I waited, they brought me some of the little thin, flat sesame bread, which was very tasty. The staff are extremely friendly, the food absolutely delicious, and the decor very pleasant. When I went to pay for my meal, I was told they don’t accept the voucher from LivingSocial. Not only that, I was told they had contacted LivingSocial on multiple occasions to inform them of the issue. I’m actually glad for the mistake because I did not know Royal Nepal was there, and probably would’ve ordered differently. I’m always up for a buffet at lunch time, but this gave me the chance to try something more unusual (for me). NOTE: If this LivingSocial thing should happen to you, don’t hold it against the restaurant. LivingSocial is a real mess and nobody should give them any business, other than to use any credit they have, IF you can find anything worthwhile. I’ve been ripped off by the vendors on several occasions, and the only reason I use LS at all is because refunds are only given in credit. I’ve had to get several refunds because of vendors who pulled a no-show, are surly, over-priced, refused to apply the voucher’s value, etc. ANYway, f you like Indian food and you are in this area occasionally or live in the area, definitely give these guys a try! They need to stick around. I will be going back again and again and again! YUM! PS -- the one negative review was hypercritical, but still said how good the food is, so.............

Good food, but when I ordered, and they did not bring the coconut shrimp, or the right entree, I simply called for a refund. They offered a credit. Why would I want a credit if they didnt get my order right? We ate the entree, which was good............ waaaaaaaay off from what we ordered, but still good, so didnt even bring it up. They denied me a refund. So I paid for what I didnt get. Feeling pretty ripped off, the delivery driver took FOREVER, I get it, we arent close, but to not get the right order, and not get part of it, and then have to pay is pretty shady. Ill go to yak and yeti next time......... I get what I pay for there.

The buffet is served between 11am-2pm for anyone wondering. I did not do the buffet. Instead I went inside and sat at the bar to place a to-go order. Had a vegan chai that was perfect for sipping on while I waited on my order. I finished it right around the time my food was ready. I get home and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the cheese naan with any order. It was so delicious. My main course was the Chicken Tikka. That was also good. Definitely coming back for the chai and cheese naan and cant wait to try their other menu items.

So happy to have a sit down restaurant with great food in the neighborhood. The restaurant is pretty quiet when we go in and the staff is very attentive. We also frequently order delivery which arrives within an hour. I cant speak to authenticity because I wouldnt know, but the food is delicious. If you like this flavor profile (cumin, turmeric, curry spice mix, coriander/cilantro, saffron, etc.), you will like this restaurant.

We ate dinner at the Royal Nepal 2 on Saturday evening. The basket of Naan was generous and so tasty. My daughter and I ordered Chicken Korma and Saag, both were delicious while my grandson denied hunger and just wanted Naan! He began to sample our orders and loved them both. Even the 10 year old ate greedily, enjoying the flavors. I will be returning soon.

We went to the restaurant based on the ratings received so far but was highly disappointed with the taste of the food. The Tandoori was made from a red sauce - it was not authentic. Also, the chicken curry was average. Also, there were flies around the tables which was so unwelcome.

Had a solo lunch here today. This place is a gem. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Food was wonderful. Enjoyed the buffet to get a taste of things. Will definitely be back to order off the menu. They have a great selection and a bar to boot. Dont pass this place up!

The food was wonderful and the prices were reasonable. The wait staff was very friendly. My wife, my 7 year old son, and I enjoyed each of the dishes we ordered. Please eat here so they stay in business so I have a wonderful India restaurant to eat at near me.

Everything Ive had here is delicious. The lamb korma is ridiculously good. Nice people, nice environment. Edit* 4/28/17 Had a little mishap with a delivery. The restaraunt took responsibility and made up for it in spades. Good people down there.
