I have always enjoyed stopping in at Mutiny. I love that they recently added comics to their selection. However, the comics on the shelves were often a little bent up. Luckily, they are already answering that by bagging and boarding all comics in the store. This shows how much they care about their customer base. The only thing keeping me from leaving a full 5-star review is I sometimes feel a little ignored when I go in there. It can be hard to find stuff and if the employees are to deep in a conversation it can be difficult to get their attention to get some help.

Gut busting comedy open mics, cheap, STRONK coffee, really sassy art actually. Someone needs to buy some of those pieces up in there. They are sassy and yet have been sitting in there for awhile. Arcade games, good crowds to chill with, and the black flag waves high. Broadway doesnt have many murals like Colfax does and yet Mutiny holds it down with a sick mural on its side and some chairs to sit on aswell outside. In the Summer they host free punk shows on block which is whats really up. its a good chunk of soul and style on the strip.

Normally I chalk up claims like "best cold brew in Denver" to marketing, but for Mutiny I think it might actually be true. Always great tunes on in wide variety. Good selection of books and vinyl on the racks. I come here when I need a change of pace to get some work done and dont mind listening to other customers wax philosophical. I also appreciate that they are keyed in to the local performance art community.

To say I appreciate finding a place that serves coffee, as those who appreciate tales, but one mapped out with tree trunks of vinyl, and both flower and fruit are made out of sound... Reminds me. Captain crunch blew a whistle, Jericho to harmonics fell, even without an oscilliscope, you can appreciate a tale intertwined encrypted transmitted related as mc escher squared, I really like this place.

Cool place. Some interesting rare books and vintage items like old Star Wars cards. Also has an attached coffee shop and some pin ball machines. Actual book collection is random and hard to look through. If you came wanting a specific item, youll probably be out of luck. If you just enjoy looking through the books for a new find though, this place is fun.

Great place for coffee and browsing the book store. Sit down and read or get on the internet. they have free WiFi. besides coffee they also have Peligrino Lemon and orange drinks. Great people helpful without being pushy. laid back place I can highly recommend. They have a great collection of books and you can relax there enjoy life.

A fresh take on the neighborhood comics store. The friendly staff curates the selection of mainstream and indie titles, graphic novels and art books and doesnt push garbage or merch on you. The prices are fair. Its a coffee shop with a great atmosphere for checking out new books. And YES they have Cathair Apocalypse!

Neat little bookstore with lots of variety, there is something for everyone. The prices were decent and the guy that helped me was friendly. Next time Ill have to hang out and get a coffee too. The first time I saw this place was on a night out drinking at midnight and they were still open!

Super chill book/record/coffee/comic book shop in my favorite neighborhood in Denver. The owners are incredibly keyed into the community and put up multiple live shows A week in the back of the store. Great taste in music, and art. Their iced coffee is some of the best in town!

This is a lovely little book Shop with a coffee bar. They have a piano in the back to play and you are welcome to grab a book off the shelf and plop down in a chair to read for a bit. This is also a safe place, free from discrimination.

I like this bookstore. The staff has always been friendly, the people milling about seem friendly, and they have great prices to boot. Ive been there several times, and it is becoming my #1 place to check for books in Denver.

My wife and I stayed for a night in September 2016 for our wedding anniversary. The staff were very pleasant and made us feel very welcome. The room was very clean and comfortable. Great location for the Shard and Tower Bridge

Exactly my kind of place. Helpful & knowledgeable staff. New & used: Books, comics, magazines, records, games, and accessories. Great coffee. Pinball. Rotating specialty nights. Live music, readings, comedy, magic, etc.

Quirky but not good. Coffee was pretty bad. Hard to get any reading done because this bookstore/cafe has pinball machines and plays punk music. Scene was fine just clashed with what I expected from a bookstore.

The owner of this store, Jack, is one of the nicest guys Ive ever met. I would highly recommend checking out his awesome art as well. You cant go wrong walking in here... books, coffee, art, and friendliness.

Fun spot to look for all types of media. Books, music & comics are why I go there. Friendly staff. Good snacks if you want to eat & read. Quiet with good music playing. Restroom for paying customers.

I love this place, but they need to change the information available about cartoons on Saturday. What is shared online isnt accurate. It says 10am but doesnt start until AFTER 1pm...very disappointed.

Improved greatly over time. Despite its unassuming appearance, Mutiny has become a fixture of the revitalized South Broadway district. Where else can you buy books late at night :)

This place is a gem! This coffee shop / book store / record store with a performance space is a den of intelligent counterculture. Fight the power... read a book.

Wasnt impressed by this book store. The worker there is crabby and rude. The comic selection is bad. The books there arent good. I dont recommend this place.

The icecubes in the icecoffee, are coffee! I have often done this at home! Wondered why more places have not adopted this practice?
