Where do I start... Their customer service is HORRIBLE to say the least! It took FOREVER just to get seated and when it was time to place an order it took WAY too long to get our food (and the sad part is there was maybe 1 other couple there at the time). So after such crappy service I figured hey maybe take out would be better and I was WRONG! When I called the person who answered couldnt really understand english and didnt even know what some of the sushi rolls were that were on their own menu! When I get there they didnt have my food ready and messed up my order and when they went to fix it they werent happy about it. They are lucky I was seriously craving sushi or I would have walked out when I went to pick up my order. I honestly wish that I would have checked out the comments here before going there cause I wouldnt even have stepped foot in such a horrible place. If you like good sushi at a good price and great customer service this place isnt for you. I will NEVER eat there again to say the least!

[Worst customer service experience] I am going to make this short and not so sweet. I am a regular at Tomo Sushi. Ive always enjoyed the staff and their work ethics towards customer service. Yet some how the the Manager "a woman Who claimed to be the manager" decided out of all the times Ive been there she would charge me for spicy mayo.which she has always given me additional sauces at no additional cost. Yet I spent $42.67 and she had the odasiity to say 25 cents for each sauce. Even after I asked her how could she charge me for something so petty when in fact their sushi rolls are tiny and they over charge. She said she was ok with losing me as a client If I wasnt willing to pay for the additional sauce. My recommendation is NARA SUSHI Google it , go Vista and enjoy the great quality also their amazing staff which even gave me free miso soup with my order. I dont do this often but places like tomo sushi should be exposed.

Horrible service. Our server never said her name, so I cant tell you who it was. But we purchased a Groupon and sense we only received regular menues, we assumed that the Groupon covered it. At the end she told us there was a sushi menu we had to order off of.. She handed my husband his food first, and had to come back for mine. Both entires were incorrect and had to take them back, which we had to tell her, sense she didnt even realize they were wrong. Then still handed out my husbands food first (which was very dry beef tips) without mine. ( I was a server for 6 years, thats not how it works). She never refilled our waters. And she was very snachy with the bill, and rather then standing at the table and thanking us for coming in, she walked away saying have a good night. We were not pleased with our first and only time at Tomo Sushi

I ordered online 30 mins early so my family and I could enjoy an easy sushi dinner at home. When I arrived at the appointed time the sushi roll was sitting out, the Bento boxes had not been started. The first hostess or waitress disappeared when she went to go get my order then 10-15 mins later she came back and said the price online was incorrect and they needed to charge me an additional 8 dollars plus tax?! I was furious but just wanted my food and told them ok, at which point she said "ok, I am going to tell them to make it" at which point I told them to just give me what they had and refund the rest. When they finally gave me two out of the three dinners I ordered, one of the sealed chopsticks container was empty. I shared my wife and sons meals, the food was NOT great. I will never go back and recommend neither do you.

Its definitely not the worst sushi place in Colorado, but its nothing to write home about. If you like spicy tuna, about 80% of their rolls have spicy tuna in them... that being said, weve tried a hand full of different rolls and nigiri here over 2 visits (using a Groupon) and everything is just... boring. Their fish just doesnt seem to pack the flavor other sushi joints get... everything seems kinda watery, squishy and not firm and full of flavor (possibly frozen or something?) We went a second time thinking it may have been our roll selection the first time, or just a bad day, and was disappointed the second time too. Sushi Ring II is hands down our favorite place in the Springs, and we were hoping to find something to beat it... but havent yet. The journey continues!

Food was decent, i got the Bento box and it was quite the stomach full. The waiter though could have definitely used some manners. I asked for my veggies steamed, and the shrimp and the veggies came out steamed instead of the shrimp being fried. He grabbed the shrimp himself off of my plate on the table and threw it over the divider into the trash, he missed and it just fell on the floor. He was very rough, he had an act of throwing things. The menus, the dishes, my shrimp. Then he gave us the wrong check, we were almost foolish enough to just give him the card, but i knew $45 for 2 bento lunches wasnt right. Then it took him close to a couple minutes at his register/computer to get us the right one. Which only came out to be $28. Lousy service.

I used to love this place for their sushi bento box. I recently went and as always have to ask for avocado to be excluded from the sushi because I have a bad allergy to it. This was never a problem before. I absolutely love avocado but developed a severe allergy to it about eight years ago. Its bad enough I cant eat avocado any more, but now the manager refuses to allow the sushi chef to roll it without avocado...thus: I can no longer have my beloved sushi box. Eff that B. The management sucks. Their customer service on the higher level blows. Ill stick to the other joints in town who were here before and who will remain long after the jackass manager womans customer service screws this place into the hole.

I like Tomo, mostly. If they didnt use baby carrots and they didnt over stuff the rolls it would have got 5 stars. I ask for no egg, no problem! BUT they stuffed more than twice the cucs in it to make up for it. I didnt ask for extra cucs, I didnt want extra cucs, and I DID want the piece to be bite sized not fall apart when you realize you have to bite it in half and if falls all over your lap. Baby carrots are processed with bleach, NASTY. I always forget that they dont shred the veggies and when it arrives the carrots ruin it for me. I love the service, atmosphere, rice flavor/texture, menu selection, just wish that it wasnt americanised with the jumbo bites and get RID of baby carrrots!!!

The sushi we had was not up to par, Im from the windy city and I guess I expected something good. The miso soup had a great flavor to it but that was about as good as the meal got. We ordered spicy tuna rolls, girls night out (or something like that) and another one. The tuna did not taste fresh or good and thats just a simple roll. The other two we ordered seem like the chefs put all the dressings they had back there. Yes the décor does not fit the type of restaurant but that doesnt matter since the food was just not worth it. I cant speak for the other dishes but as far as sushi I will look at other places next time.
