My husband and I enjoy trying new places and after reading the reviews regarding this restaurant we thought why not!? We made the decision to carry our food out (instead of dine) and were very excited on our ride home. Although the portions were a generous size, the food we ordered was incredibly bland! The only thing we could eat without forcing it down was the rice and beans. We are not sure if our experience might have been different if we had dined instead. Regardless, we will definitely not be returning. By the way we ordered: Shrimp Tacos, Azada Burrito , Enchiladas and Chocolate Flan.

Coming from Texas and from a Mexican household, this is the closest to my mothers kitchen. Food is made with love and full of flavor. Beans and rice are like my moms. Chile rellenos are amazing and the tacos al pastor are flavorful! Cant go wrong with this place. Tamales are good and spicy. Only thing Im not sold on is their enchilada sauce. Not true Mexican red sauce Im used to making in my own kitchen. They blend other spices that take it away from a true Mexican red enchiladas sauce. Overall good food!

My sister and I have the crispy beef tacos at least once a week and they are delicious. The beans and rice are very good. Ive tried the chili rellenos, enchiladas, soft tacos, menudo, and burritos and they are all great. I dont eat Mexican food anywhere else now that Ive discovered Tlaquepaque. The service is great, the owners [family owned and operated] are friendly, and the place is simple and clean. Prices are decent. I plan on eventually trying everything on the menu if I can. The tacos are hard to resist.

Im from Texas, and I eat a ton of Tex-Mex :) upon arriving to CO, I have yet to find any Mexican food worth eating until yesterday! This place was 100% what ive been looking for, and I plan to become a regular.....An additional bonus is the customer service is outstanding!! The enchiladas were wonderful, and even though the stuffed jalapenos about killed me, I couldnt stop eating them....

Im visiting from Southern California and had a craving for authentic Mexican food. I noticed this place, read the reviews & decided to give it a try. I played it safe with chicken enchiladas & they were delicious! The Chipotle sauce is flavorful & just the right amount of spiciness. The beans & rice were also delicious & tasted homemade. Ill definitely return to try other dishes!

Friendly service and good prices. I like that their carne asada is meaty and not just fat pieces like a lot of other places. I was not a fan of their sausage breakfast burrito, but they have really good chorizo. They have the right kind of variety that would make them better if they were open 24 hours, but I look forward to going again.

I have a hard time ordering because everything so damn delicious! So far Ive had chorizo burrito which is very good has beans in it. The lengua tacos is my favorite! Carnitas and Birra tacos are so good. The Carne fries are amazing. Big portions and friendly service. I could seriously eat here every day!!

We just moved here from South Texas. This is, by far, the best Mexican food weve had since there! The customer service is great and the food is amazing! Definitely coming back! If youre from South Texas like we are, youll know how hard it has been to find authentic Mexican food! Absolutely perfect!

Best Mexican food in town, with seriously authentic options. The tortas ahogada is amazing (seriously spicy, even by Colorado standards). The tacos de bierria are also amazing. Boring american options like carne asada burritos are also available, but Ive never tried them.

My girlfreind had the idea to grab breakfast burritos while we were moving from one unit in our complex to another. Freindly service and great authentic mexican food. I had the chorizo breakfast burrito and she had the potatoe and bacon burrito. Highly recommended.

Excellent authentic Mexican meals. Not Americanized. Fast service and priced fairly. If you want Real Mexican food this is the place to go. Trust me, because my wife is from Mexico City and her mom is an excellent cook and this food reminds me of her...

I had just gotten out of surgery and was craving breakfast. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was super delicious. The green and red salsa they put in my to go bag were also perfect. The burrito was large and very tasty. Will definately be back.

Being from Austin TX its been extremely hard to find a somewhat decent Mexican restaurant. Finally weve found an awesome Mexican restaurant. I would suggest this place to anyone looking for a great hole-in-the-wall place. Yes, I gave it 5 stars!

Food was ok. A little bland. Staff is nice and they have a nice "rewards program" where you get a free entre with a value of $8.99 or less for free after 5 visits. However, I received a credit of 2 visits for ordering 2 meals in one visit.

The nastest Mexican food Ive had here in the Springs. We had the Beef Chimichanga this is the first place Ive ever eaten at that but ground beef instead of shredded beef. And the mexican rice tasted burnt and the refried beans were cold.

The chicken chimichanga was delicious a little crisp on the outside layer while moist but not overly sopping inside , just right on the cheese not piled on so I could taste all the ingredients

The chicken chimichanga was phenomenal. Best Ive had since California. Everything was delicious, service was prompt and curtious. Only thing Id change might be table clothes.
