My wife daughter and I decided to go to Perkins for a change, past experiences had been really good for my wife and I, this was our daughters first time there, but this one was not. I ordered the steak and peppers and when it came to the table there was gravy all over the edge of the plate and as soon as I could smell the dish I could tell it was burnt. I tried to eat a piece of the steak and it was very over cooked. There was only 4 pieces of peppers on the plate the mushrooms were shriveled and black the gravy that came with it had little flavor and it was to have potatoes done 2 different ways mashed and diced, I only received them one way, diced and dry as all get out. My daughter ordered the country fried steak meal with mash potaoes and her brown gravy also had little flavor, this is a girl who absolutely loves brown gravy and she said that it was not good. My wife had to reorder her sausage links because they did not come when the rest of the food came out, come to find they had not been put on the ticket. Honest mistake, but just one more thing to add to our poor experience. I was offered the chance to get something else, but declined because I did not want to have to wait for another disappointment. We will not be going back.

Absolutely Filthy! My husband and I stopped in on February 12, 2016, for a late lunch. We started off by ordering the mozzarella sticks. However, when our server brought them to our table, much to our horror, we noticed how dirty the plate was. I noticed something sticking out from under the plate, lifted it up, and noticed old food stuck to the plate in several places. I immediately summoned the Manager who promptly apologized and took the plate. While waiting for our food, my spouse opened up his napkin containing the silverware. Upon inspection, he pointed out to me how greasy the utensils were. The knife looked as if it had been dipped in bacon grease! I opened my silverware that was wrapped in a napkin. My utensils were dirtier than his. We immediately got up and told the manager and server that we had no intentions of eating here. Additionally, we also noted that although the place was not busy, the carpet in the restaurant was NASTY. Food spilled ALL OVER the carpet! If you value your health...STAY AWAY FROM HERE!

Went here twice in the last week. My first was a kind of scouting endeavor, which turned out nice. I got some things to go, and the food was really good (particularly the wildberry pie). The staff was a little bit slow, but welcoming. My second visit was for a group meet-up. They didnt provide menus for half the people at our table, including myself, and when the waitress came to take orders she didnt even seem to notice. I ended up leaving early, so I didnt order any food, but I did try the coffee... some of the worst coffee Ive ever had. I suppose this place is okay, but I likely wont go back in favor of better options in the area.

We were so excited to have a Perkins come to Colorado Springs, but it has been a disappointment. They are racist, dirty and the food gave us food poisoning. It stinks like an old people retirement home, it feels cold and dead on the inside. Overall, a great disappointment and let down. Why dont you fire everyone, hire new non-racist people that are clean and know what it means to be sanitary, clean out the place, throw out all your old expired nasty food that gave us food poisoning, open up some windows and clean your kitchen out as well.

The place was clean, bathrooms smelled good and the server was great!she went above and beyond her duties to accommodate our family. The food is really good and prices very fair...I got the pit smoked pulled pork sandwich for 8.99 with two sides and it was goooodd! The salad was very fresh and all green lettuce, the fries were perfect and the pulled pork sandwich definitely was on point in taste. I would go here again and again. Great family environment. ..kinda a cross between marie callendars taste but dennys pricing; )

They sat us in an unclean area where there was food in the aisle where the waitress was sweeping the and left it there . 20 min later our food arrived the floor was still disgusting. When we told the lady who bought our food out that we didnt want to eat with the food and trash on the floor she didnt apologize. She just looked at the other waitress and said what would you like me to do ..they dont want to eat here because the floor. .finally she moved us. Eggs over cooked bad customer service. Will NEVER GO BACK!

DO NOT EAT HERE! My server was apathetic and misrepresented the prices of additional sides. We ended up paying $5 more than we expected for one side. And when we brought this to the managers attention, she basically told us that we were dumb for thinking that the side was less than it was, then told us to take our business elsewhere. My advice to you is the same as hers, take your business elsewhere; this establishment is too good to treat their customers well.

Thought wed pop in for a decent breakfast while running errands and were so completely put off by (1.) a rude older hostess who has no business being in the front of the house greeting customers and (2.) an equally rude and abrasive older server that we got up and left. There was absolutely no need for it. We did nothing to be made such an inconvenience. It was disgusting.

The food was ok but, from the minute we got thier we were waiting WAITING FOR ANYTHING. to be seated , water, coffee, service, food came out kinda warm and the funny part is it was not that busy. Me and my wife expresesed our frustration and thier answer was to change waitresses. .........we where done eating at this point this place is a joke .....never again thank you

Perkins is usually great but on this occasion we get there and while they are asking for names to seat people no one asks us for our name. After a few other people get there they start taking names but put us to the end of the list!! And yes..... I did mention to them that there were others that had been waiting for quite some time! Totally disregarded me!! Very unhappy!!

I am not sure why everyone has such a negative view of perkins but for the most part my experiences here has been pretty positive. Even if there has been problems the staff has always made it better. Great place. Good Food Deals. Great Servers - Mimi, Denny, Lindy, Marie... they all make my experience there very pleasant...several times a week!

Server was very nice and made me feel cared for. She didnt check on us too often. The cook was the one who delivered the food which I liked because I felt that it increased my trust in the food. I had to go ask for extra water because one of my glasses had little floaties in it. Bathroom smelled bleh and could use some Lysol and Febreeze.
