Disclaimer: I was a server for over 10 years and one of my first jobs was as a waitress for VI at a training store) Food was good and the service timely and friendly however the restaurant could have been run better. Half the tables werent bussed and those that were occupied ( to include ours) werent pre-bussed. There were lots of empty dirty tables when we got there and the same tables were still dirty when we left. In fact, I asked the host if we could have a booth and he said over his shoulder as he walked us to a table..."I do have some but they are all dirty"...as a customer and a former waitress the correct response should have been "yes, if you would like to wait Ill clean one off for you"...but instead he sat us at a table with food on the chairs and gave us dirty menus. Cleaning off the chairs when you bus a table is restaurant 101. When we went up to pay the host didnt acknowledge us but instead answered the phone and took a food order over the phone , never once turning around to say "just one moment" ...again the correct response for those VI folks reading this: acknowledge the customer in FRONT OF YOU., apologize, answer the phone, put the people on the the phone on HOLD as you apologize to them...turn around Apologize again for having to answer the phone, take the money....easy stuff really. Instead, we watched his back for 5 minutes as he took an order...but I understand, after all the 10 people waiting to be sat at tables that were dirty must have been stressing him out. Nah, thats not it....they were just poorly trained. VI management, Id love to come train your people! Heres another free tip for the wait staff, when you are bussing a table never go back to the kitchen without a dirty dish....never leave the dirty dishes on the large server trays in the middle of the floor. It looks dirty and its a hazard. All that being said, it was a tasty meal but I had to wonder if the front of the house looked dirty what did the back look like?

Poor management. As we were waiting for a table, a customer seemed to be having an argument with a server. So of course, we got to sit next to the customer. Then he starts telling his friend about how he is going to go "fisticuffs" and settle it. Naturally, I ask our server if I should be concerned about a twitchy angry guy that close to my 2 year old. She talked to the manager. The manager comes over and tells the table that someone complained, and to quiet down. He called them by name, so Im assuming that theyre regulars. Since we were the only table near them, I got to spend the rest of my dinner listening to this idiot talk about fighting me and getting up and twitching around the restaurant. The manager put my family in possible danger by the way he handled it, instead of taking a leadership role and asking the customer to stop acting like an idiot and just blaming it on other customers. I wont be back. At least Twitchy got to enjoy his evening.

The menu is a hit and missed to your liking. This restaurant may have the worlds famous chef Mic working for them. You can get the best quality Frozen processed food if thats your thing for me it wasnt I puked up my meatloaf mashed potatoes and sour mac and cheese that were obviously not prepared or cooked at this restaurant just heated up. Far as the pie I didnt get that Brave to Adventure into the pie. This place has a lot of seniors and first-timers last timers that keep this place in business. They were really nice and apologetic for serving me sour food and refunded my money which seem to be a very common thing. Got two more stars for a great burger. Yes I do go back to try something suggested by others. May go try an omelette meal next time.

Those now hiring signs outside are a lie! I had 2 interviews with Mike and he said come in when Tom is there, so i did, and Tom said theyre good for now. When he was telling me that, I noticed tables were still dirty, and people were still waiting to be seated! I did 2 interviews for cook and busserhost! I went there a few times before that and they were always short-staffed and rude! I dont get this town, its all now hiring signs, but no one is actually hiring!

I would absolutely give this location negative stars if possible due to the night manager, Angela. Not only is she extremely condescending and rude, she is also arrogant, down right disrespectful and unprofessional. I will be contacting her store manager as well as the regional manager regarding her lack of customer service, the ridiculous power trip she is on, the fact that she closed the store early (again) and also pretended to be the store manager.

Waitress staff is friendly, but seems to hate their jobs. The manager is constantly staring over shoulders and berating staff about things. Took 30 minutes to get a cup of coffee, hair in the food and it was cold, bathroom looks like the contestants from the annual taco bell eating competition showed up to use them after pulling stoppers out of their butts. But I love the staff members. Servers are as friendly as can be.

Wow... when these employees are having a bad day they let you know. The young teen who was in charge of the register ignored everyone trying to check out until there were 7 parties trying to leave. I wouldnt be surprised if people gave up trying to pay with this kiddo working the register. Other than that, wait staff was excellent, we were seated quickly and the food was good.

The food here is standard VI: consistent, filling, and comfort food. The service here is on another level. The keys to getting served like a regular: eye contact and a smile. There are some folks who come here to be left alone. If you give the staff a friendly look and a smile, it will open up a great level of service. Cheers

This locations core staff is very kind and attentive, and their back of house staff actually know what theyre doing pretty well. There seems to be a perpetual staffing problem though; you might wait longer than you would at other restaurants, but its well worth it if youre in the mood for some diner food!

Walked in and waited 5 minutes for a host to even acknowledge us. Then, we were sat and waited 15 minutes with no server greeting us. The restrooms looked as though they hadnt been cleaned in days. We finally left (without any interaction with our ghost server) and WILL NOT be back.

Tasty, clean, quick, and well priced. Im glad I found this place. The food, service and price make it quite attractive. This was definitely an appreciated step up from Dennys. And it was just the thing for a traveler looking for a good place to have breakfast.

Portions are small but the food is super good. While the food does take a while to come out, the waitress I pretty much get assigned every time is pretty nice and attentive. Manager is funny and really nice guy I think. Really good pancakes.

Went in for lunch with a co-worker. They had a 15 minute wait and they had plenty of tables available. Not sure if they are short staffed or if they dont have competent waitresses. We left after not being seated. I prefer IHOP now.
