We just moved into the area and came across Wholly Cannoli Cafe driving by. We love good Italian food so we knew right when we saw it that we had to give it a chance. On Sunday around 5:00 we thought we would give it a chance. I called up to order and was told that they were out of sausage and ricotta cheese. How does an Italian Restaurant stay open if they dont have these two ingredients, almost half their menu has one of those ingredients. This is like Taco Bell running out of beans. I should have know right then that this was not going to be a good experience but I still gave it a chance. We decided to try their lasagna with a side order of garlic knots. The employee said that it would be ready in 35 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant 40 minutes later only to witness the hostess arguing with what seemed to be a waitress. After telling me that my order was not ready and that they were waiting for the garlic knots to finish it would be a few minutes, she had given me a total in which was not correct. I questioned it and she said that the prices on the menu arent updated but she would take 10% off. At this point I thought the total was close enough and wasnt worth complaining about any longer. I waited for an additional 13 minutes about how long it takes knots to cook, so they started cooking them when I arrived. When I was waiting I witnessed the cook come out from the back 2 times to yell at the hostess for giving the wrong times, I even saw him turn to a customer and tell him his pizza would be another 20 minutes, in a rude and unprofessional manner, this is why the cook needs to stay in the kitchen and not out on the floor. I have worked in the restaurant business for many years and this was a sad scene to witness. At this point I thought this food better be great or they are going to those me forever. Unfortunately the food was even worse then the customer service. The lasagna tasted exactly like canned raviolis. Sauce was terrible and noodles were way over cooked, there was no cheese and the meat was awful. I have never complained about a restaurant but this place was horrible. Scale of 1-10 it scored a 1 from me. We will never be back!

We tried to eat here last night, but never got the chance. The hostess was going to seat us at a table larger than what we needed but it was the only one open. She told us they had a large party coming in about an hour and that we could take the table if we thought wed be done within that time frame. Since we have two young kids and we typically dont linger at most restaurants, I told her that was fine. As we were about to sit down, a man I presume to be the owner came over and said "No, you cant sit here. You dont have enough people." He then preceded to try moving a two-top together with another two-top where people were already sitting and eating and mash us together with them. They looked a little dismayed, and I was definitely taken aback. Who does that? We have two young kids (one baby in a highchair), so that made absolutely zero sense to me and we all wouldnt have fit comfortably. I told him as such, and he said "Whats the problem? This is fine." He was very rude about it, too. I said maybe we needed to find another place to eat and he said, "Fine. Go ahead and do that." All the while, his staff (two waitresses and the hostess) looked completely dumbfounded by his actions and rudeness. Needless to say, I turned and walked out and its unlikely my family will ever be back. We instead gave our business to Parkway Grille just a few doors down and had a wonderful meal and were in and out within 45 minutes. Wholly Cannoli lost a good $75 of our business as a result of that owners rudeness and poor customer service. No matter how good your food is you have nothing if your customer service is nonexistent. Very disappointed in this experience.

Came here on a Friday night with my boyfriend - approximately 7pm. First off, which door to enter can be very confusing - either way - we made it in. When entering the desserts are the first thing to greet you and let me tell you they all look absolutely amazing (I have a major sweet tooth)! The wait wasnt terrible, but the front of the house is a MAD house. The staff seemed super confused and when we were finally seated - we waited another 15-20 minutes before anyone even came to our table! We ordered the arancini rice balls, but were told they were completely out so changed it to an order of garlic knots, bruschetta, fried calamari and the bolognese lasagna (we wanted a variety - obviously). The garlic knots came out within minutes - we were super excited, but again, that feeling was quickly shot down when we ate them. The garlic knots werent even warm - hell, the least they could have done was pop them in the microwave. The calamari was mediocre at best - definitely have had better at Red Lobster and that says a lot (cause I dont like the place)! The bruschetta was garbage! It came out drenched in olive oil (SOGGY) and when the waitress asked how it was - and we told her - not good she offered to take it off the bill (that was considerate)! The bolognese lasagna - Ha, ha! Lets just say that next time I want "Italian" - Ill head over to the local Olive Garden (again, another restaurant that I dont care for). Lets hope the desserts pan out!

HOLY CANNOLI is right! I recently came here for dinner with my husband and my dad. It is so super yummy here. A great little family owned place where everyone is very friendly, everything is made fresh and is delicious. While we were there we looked over the dessert case. Everything looked so good my dad decided to order an assortment of desserts for our Christmas brunch. The desserts are all made in house and are AMAZING! We especially loved the cannolis and the almond cookies. Skip to tonight when my husband and I ordered a pizza. That might just be the best New York style pizza I have had in the state of Colorado. It was AWESOME. My husband and I are what you may call pizza snobs and this place is so freaking good. Okay so here is the side bar. We ordered our pizza for carry out and it took 60 minutes to have it ready to go so if you want to do the same plan ahead. But folks I can tell you it was worth the wait! SO YUMMY! Also my husband mentioned when he went into the resutaruant to pick up the pizza every person who worked there said hello, asked how they could help and remembered his name. He said he was blown away with how friendly they are over there, and lets just say he is now the type to be blown away by anything. P.S. My husband and his family are all from NYC and italians to boot so they were really freaking excited about the rainbow cookies and pizza. So there you go. Okay now head on over and try everything on that menu.
