The good: very family friendly. Not too loud. The bad: the service is very bad. We order water, a beer, and a coke. They didnt bring the drinks out until the first dish came out, and they forgot the beer and coke. Our waiter is bad too. He spilled the entire bow of fish sauce on our table, and didnt care to clean it up. He didnt care to take the dishes that was finished away either. The food is not good either. Fried fish was cold, and was coated in a lot of flour. I really want to give this place another chance, but i dont think Im coming back.

I recently ate Seafood Cove 2, the other dim sum restaurant thats down the street, and I believe that Kim Su is slightly better. The service is friendlier and more attentive because they dont want to just shove you in and out. The price I paid was less than Seafood Cove 2 even though it felt like I bought more food. Quality of food was very similar in both restaurants but Kim Su even has a slight edge in that because the food tasted slightly fresher. Overall, Kim Su is the best dim sum you can get around this area.

I cant give a proper here because I only go in the morning for their dim sum service. The food is delicious for a reasonable price, but you dont get great service. You would have to wave a plane to land in order to get some attention from any worker. Theres usually a wait time during the weekend mornings that can last 5 to 20 minutes depending on your party size.

Popular place for dim sum for brunch and live seafood (house lobster is great) dinner. It has most of the popular Chinese/Vietnamese dishes and everything I have tried is fair to good. The service is similar to most Asian restaurants around the area so I can not knock any points off for that. Dont come in expecting Mastro level attention.

Have been going here for their dim sum for three years now. Their pork shu mai (fried or regular) is possibly the best Ive had in the Santa Ana area. Next best would be their shrimp Bun Coon. Lately, this place has been getting really crowded on weekends but I do see more cultural variety in their patrons, which is always great to see :)

In general, foods are good. Price is reasonable. Servers are friendly. Yet, during summer time and hot weather, dim sum dishes that have shrimp tend to turn bad quickly with sour taste of spoiled seafood.

Get the lobster with house special sauce and you will be in lobster heaven. Ive eaten the lobsters at Tan Cang Newport Seafood and several other places but this place is the best in my opinion.

They serve not high quality food for the expensive price they charge per plate. The food is usually very greasy or salty. Not worth to pay a lot of money for very salty and greasy food.

Theyre alright... kinda dirty and the ppl kinda ignored me and let me sit for awhile before getting my order. But then it was empty, maybe everyone was on break or it was lunchtime.

Come here for the Dim sum, the fried foods here are usely fresh and well done here compared to the other dim sum shops. The steamed dishes are usely piping hot aswell

I loooove this place,it is simply delicious!!! You should really come and try the fried rice,shrimp,and chow mein. Its soon yummy!! They have friendly staff.
