Great food and fun atmosphere. The cornbread is great but its hit or miss. Sometimes its delicious and sometimes its very dry. Also, most of the wait staff is great but I have had a few people who didnt know what they were doing at all and were even a little rude about it when I questioned them. Last, I dont drink soda so I always have soda water. Everytime I order it I get sprite or some sprite soda water mix. And when I explain the issue with it I usually get a confused or a kind of "I dont care" type of response. The Sprite and the soda water come out of the same line...I get it. But all they would need to do is pour out the first bit of what comes out of the drink nozzle into a sink and after a second or two start filling up the drink with soda water. Its not even the slightest bit difficult but 10/10 visits this happens and half the time the server doesnt understand what to do even after I help them understand how it works and end up just having water.

Cant say enough good things about this place. Best thing on the menu is there burnt ends, followed closely by the Reuben sandwich. The Rednexican Nachos are amazing and can feed 2-3 people as a meal. Cheesy cornbread fritters (hushpuppies) are a must try as well. The house beers are all good and the rotating guest selection keeps me coming back. $9 shot and beer combo changes daily and is a great way to try them out. Happy hour 3-6pm is also great. No complaints about the service either. Always friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Its a very busy place but they take good care of you still. Gets loud and busy on game nights so come early or reserve a table. Also on occasion they run out of certain menu items (like burnt ends) later in the evenings. At this point Ive tried most of the menu and its all amazing. Do yourself a favor and add this place to your list.

When this place had a sign shaming them for something about hurting the community, I didnt know what the ordeal was about. I steer clear of it until today. Pub down the street was packed and loud, so we opted for Sauced. I didnt eat anything just a few beer and watch baseball. This place might as well be the biggest in downtown WC. Theres a second bar outside the patio keeping the brew flowing. Multiple television will keep any sports fan glued to their seats. The servers are wonderful and never frowned upon, or telling us to moved elsewhere. Now, back to that sign out front. What was all that fuss about?

Despite being incredibly busy, as most newly opened restaurants are, my boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience. We walked in on a whim, and immediately saw it was packed. The wait time for a table in dining was at least 2 hours, and there was a Warrior game on. We walked to the bar seating, waited maybe 20 minutes, but found a table and were greeted almost immediately. The drinks and food were fantastic, service was quick, but our waitress was very sweet and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back. Only downside was the wait, to be honest, which should wear off in the coming months.

First of all, the place is nice and the ribs were good. I just have grievances with the sauces. The Georgia Gold sauce is a mustard based sauce but mustard based sauce is a South Carolina thing. The menu says the pulled pork sandwich has a Carolina vinegar based sauce which suggests an Eastern North Carolina sauce but my waitress told me that they dont have a North Carolina sauce and that they just braise the pork in a vinegar and apple cider mix. That was a disappointment to say the least. I had to mix two of the sauces to get a decent sauce for my ribs.

4.5 Venue: ***** Great casual ambience. Outdoor (covered) and indoor seating many TVs. Comfortable. Very crowded on a Thursday night, and a little loud. Food: **** Very good (especially for California), but not great BBQ for the price. You wont be disappointed with the brisket. The fries had good seasoning, baked beans were tasty, Mac and cheese was very good. Grits had some spiciness to them. Drink: $6 whiskey of the day. Bullitt was tasty.

My coworker and I stopped in Sauced BBQ this afternoon for a light lunch and beer. Our server Kirsten had all the charm of a sorority greeter on pledge night. Her charismatic presence and wealth of knowledge of beer was exceptional. Our food came quick and was very tasty. I had the pulled pork with two sides of coleslaw and Mac n cheese. Clean and relaxed environment. This will be my new hangout. Thanks again for the great service n food!!!

Rude bartender and not foreigner friendly. A group of us (all well over 21) went out to Sauced and decided to wait at the bar for our table. One person in the group was British with a valid UK drivers license and the rest of the group had valid California licenses. The bartender wouldnt serve our British friend and told the rest of us to "order or go somewhere else". So we went somewhere else.

I just had my first dining experience here and absolutely loved it. The service was excellent, our server was really funny and witty and took great care of us. We ordered the burnt ends platter along with the half rack of baby back ribs with mac-n-cheese, honey cornbread, fries with their house rub and smoked beans, all of which were phenomenal. I cannot wait to come back!

The place gets busy fast but if you can usually get a table in the bar after 5 minutes. Ordered the 3 meat plate and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food that came out. Burnt ends are always my favorite and the ribs had a great crust. The collard greens are the way to go, they got it right.

Food is terrific and the restaurant in Livermore and Sacramento are nice. This one in Walnut Creek seems a bit dirty/tables not wiped down enough. Also parking is hell to find. The parking spots are small. The service seemed to be okay, but I like the venue. More young crowd.

Good food an drinks at a reasonable price and the service is good. Only complaint is with such high ceilings they did nothing to dampen any of the sounds. So you can hear every sound from the other side of the restaurant making conversation difficult while they are busy.

Good central WC location with comfort food galore. Sides were a favorite, sweet potato, mac and cheese and perfect cole slaw. They have an extensive beer selection. It is a comfortable space to hang out with outdoor seating available and pups allowed on patio.

Still one of my all time favorite restaurants, though this particular one is a bit crowded and often very loud. However the food is still some of the best I have ever had and would easily go here at the drop of a hat

Food is good but very overpriced, stick to happy hour. Very good beer selections. Servers cant seem to handle large groups and splitting bills. They have Trivia on Tuesdays and Bingo on Wednesdays, fun times!
