Fast and good service. Food is good too. I ordered shredded beef sandwich with bbq beans. I got the medium hot spicy and it is a bit on the spicy side. The sandwich taste really good. It had a good amount of beef and messy with sauce. I could ask for less sauce next time. The BBQ beans was interesting. It taste really good at first but it is way too saucy. With sandwich being overloaded with sauce, BBQ beans felt like it was additional sauce to the sandwich. I would give 5 stars on service but 4 stars on food. Also be aware that they charge 40c for card transactions without notifying you. They have a tiny notice on the bottom right corner of their menu which is not really noticeable...

Both the pulled pork and shredded brisket sandwiches had flavorful meat, albeit overdone, as it was not just falling apart, but to the point where it was in tiny pieces. Go with the mild-medium barbeque sauce for best flavor to heat ratio. Unfortunately, they douse everything in barbeque sauce to the point your sandwich is almost swimming. It definitely took away from the experience. The coleslaw was okay, baked beans better. The service was most friendly and they have have a nice-sized patio with picnic tables to enjoy lunch. Gripes: no place to wash up (its just a lunch counter), no water pitchers, and its not cheap. $20+ for two sandwiches, two sides, no drinks.

I was kinda shocked when i was profiled by the older white lady. She tried to push some Christian religion onto me and felt really put off. I felt the stare that all the employees where giving her when she atarted talking to me about how im a sinner with all my tattoos and piercings. Said god was perfect and i well..... wasnt. Haha sad to say i wont be eating at this place anymore. Now that that happened. I dont mind or care for that matter what religion you stand for just dont sit there and judge someone elses preference infront of everyone because of the way they look. You had a customer but i dont think ill be spending anymore money here.

I grew up in TN and learned to love a great bbq sand. That is not what youll find here. The staff was efficient and the open-air seating is nice on a sunny day, but thats where my praise ends. The sauce was more spice than flavor and the bread too drenched to handle (unless you have time for a shower before heading back to work). If you have to use a fork and knife, its not a sandwich. Its a sloppy joe--which always sucks. The slaw was okay, but nothing to sing about. After all the good reviews, this was a bit of a disappointment.

Sorry everyone. I absolutely did not like this Bar-B-Que. Maybe its because Im from the south. Idk. The sauce is heavily peppered. I could not taste any smoke flavoring at all. That was a big disappointment. All I could taste was a too peppery sauce. Even the baked beans tasted the same as the beef brisket due to the sauce. I threw mine away and Ive never done that before. Where Im from, the sauce should enhance the smoke, not overpower it. I know many enjoy it here, but Im missing true southern smoked Bar-B-Que.

I went to eat at this place for lunch like I used to do at least 3 times a week because this place offers what I usually eat (protein) I say "I used to" because Im not going to that place anymore. My bill was $11.01 I had 11 dollars + another handful of large bills but no loose change. Because I hate to carry coins, and assumed the cashier would be human enough to sacrifice $0,01 (1 penny) I offered my $11.00 and asked if that would be ok to which to cashier replied: no, I still need that cent.

After about 2 years at Starbucks HQ, I decided to give Pecos a try. I had the sliced brisket with a side of coleslaw. The meat itself was very tender and has a great smokey flavor, the same can not be said about Pecos BBQ sauce. I feel the flavors are overpowering and need to be adjusted for this place to be a top BBQ spot. Recommend ordering sauce on the side instead. The service was great, no complaints there.

Originally from KC, I literally grew up on delicious BBQ. Ive been in the PNW for years now and this is as close to home as it gets. Absolutely the best BBQ I have had within 200 miles. Always consistent with friendly, quick service. I highly recommend the sliced brisket and slaw. Just watch out for the sauce if youre a noob. The medium is what others would consider spicy. The hot may be over the top for most peeps.

Went down on a nice sunny day. Long line but it went pretty fast. Counter folks are super friendly and the food was quick. Got the mac bowl with mild pulled pork. Their sauce really isnt my style and thats the only reason im dropping a star because I cant say I love it. Theres just so much black pepper. If you like sauces with a ton of black pepper, this will definitely be your jam. The meat is very tender.

Fantastic lunch time bbq sandwiches. You pick your meat. You pick your sauce. They throw it all on a bun and dig in. Super messy, but so tasty. We went in January and it was cold, but there was still a long line and the heat from the sauce warmed us right up. The staff was really friendly and seemed like there was no where else they would rather be.

I saw a line of utility, city, contractor type workers building before 11am so I got on the line too. Brisket is excellent, sandwich roles are too, and if you like spicy/hot, then dont let them talk you out of starting at a higher heat level - the added kick will make a difference. Definitely a local gem and Im happy to have experienced it.

I really dont get the hype. Gave this place at least a dozen tries ordered most of the menu, I want to like it, but really cant. 2stars are for the actual background of smoked meat, but any of the sauces leave you with nothing but seriously overpowering black pepper. I may try once more but Ill be bringing my own sauce.

the nachos fridays are a helluva lot better than at sodo 5 friday nacho fridays. probably the top 3 in all the nachos ive ever eaten. you can only get the nachos on thurs/fri though. same with burritos -but burritos are only available on mon/tues. Mac n cheese is spicy and cheesy -its worth it imo

Pecos is one of the best bbq i have ever had. The food is super spicy. This is a must have if you live is Seattle. If you are visiting Seattle for a week I would strongly recommend this place for once. They serve one thing and they serve it well. The woman in the service window is very friendly.

Best BBQ in the state of WA. You cant beat the sauce, the meat flavor and the beans are to die for. They are a Seattle institution. Family owned and operated for many years. Excellent customer service. Make sure to arrive hungry and you may want to buy some to take home.. its that good!
