The 5 star reviews for this restaurant must be family and friends. We were really excited to try a new Mexican food restaurant, but it was worse than underwhelming. The food and drinks are extremely disappointing and the prices are high. The shredded chicken for every plate in our party was reported to be dry, stale, and inedible. The Carne Asada was thin, overcooked, dry, and tasted wrong. The shrimp were small and tasteless. Even the beans were watery and the chips tasted stale. The guacamole (my favorite) tasted like it had something mixed into it to make it cheaper (mayonnaise?). yuck! The margaritas were weak, and tasted strange. Overall, really expensive for such an extremely disappointing experience. They clearly have a long way to go. I would skip it until they figure out what theyre doing. The one good thing? The service is really great.

Very good restaurant, they got lots of space, we got lucky tho as we came on a monday evening and we didnt have to wait, the staff was very attentive, the food was really good, i had the wet chipotle burrito, smokey mild spicy and tasty all around, they have seafood dishes and classics like the camarones a la diabla, enchiladas and everything you could want, dessert was good too, flan was on point, ask for extra caramel tho, and the "tres leches", it was a "tres leches", not one of those fake desserts they say is tres leches on others restaurants, the ambiance is bright, with music and a bar on the front separated from the tables which is cool as bars can get really loud, family friendly but also a cool spot for a date night out as well, definitely will be coming back!

Weve dined here twice. Once in restaurant and once through take out. In restaurant gets 4 stars. The food was great, the service was good, and the place is big and has a lot of great natural light. The take out wasnt so great. I asked if there were beans in a burrito and was told no. My husband took a few bites, looks at me, and says that hes pretty sure its just beans. It was a carne burrito... I got a fajita burrito and was also very confused. There was no fajita and it was so spicy I couldnt even eat 1/3 of it. I was more confused and thrown off by the lack of fajita then I was by the spice. So, well continue to give this place a try but will probably stick to our all time favorite, Salsa and Beer for take out.

Food was pretty good, a group of 6 of us had dinner here. We had carne azada, Mexican chicken caesar salad, a molcajete, sopes, tacos, camarones a la diabla and chiles gueros. We all likes the food. Service on the other hand was horrible. The place pretty busy and they only had 2 waitresses and everything took for ever, food, then utensils, then refills on our drinks, some items were forgotten and lastly the bill. Better service takes it to 4-5 stars.

Its a nice place to visit, the food is something else, not that good, or its too SALTY or too SWEET (drinks). They take too long to bring your food out, and not all at once. My daughter waited 10 extra minutes for her food, and could not eat it because of the salt in it. IF YOU LIKE SALTY THIS IS A GREAT PLACE FOR YOU!!!!

The food, the drinks and the service were excellent. The owner himself sat us down and humbly welcomed us. His staff and him were very attentive and kind to our requests. I highly recommend La Corona to anyone. If you want to dine-out with the family or if you simply would like a quick bite and a drink.

Need booths. The open floor plan makes sound levels in here are very high.You have to yell over the bar noise. Food was ok but over salted. Better to add no salt and let the customer add it Salsa and beer is better.
