I moved to this area a few years ago, and completely overlooked this place. It does not have fantastic curb appeal. It looks clean, but does not scream comfortable bar atmosphere. I went here to participate in Plantnite (yes, you make little succulent plant arrangements with friends). It was also the night of a big boxing match, so a very diverse and positive crowd. Upon entering, I was shocked at how great the vibe was inside the Paragon. The owner was super personal, the drinks were great, and the food was surprisingly tasty. The Plant arranging was fun, and Id definitely do it again. My only gripe with the place was the waitress was busy, and really made us feel her annoyance. I never did get the water I ordered, and I had to go get her to request flatware for the dessert we ordered. That said, I was a really pleasant evening, and I am glad I stumbled upon this place!

I was pleasantly surprised to find such a nice, casual and friendly place with pretty good food just around the corner from where I live. Paragon B&G is not fancy or upscale, but they have pretty good implementations on some pretty basic food staples. We tried the crispy brussel sprouts since those were out of the ordinary and everyone in our group of five said they were an excellent pick. Fried calamari and adobo wings were also very tasty. I had the ahi burger which came with their homemade chips. The ahi was fresh with a lot of fresh lettuce and avocado. Really very, very good. Very respectable choices for beers, wines, and cocktails. Service staff was friendly and the owner comes around and chats, too. Overall great neighborhood place. Also great if you want to catch some sports. Were going back!

Not a bad little spot. Good selection of interesting drinks, and above average bar food. I ordered a craft beer with a slider and some fries and determined all of the above were worthy of ordering again on a subsequent visit. The atmosphere will fit a multitude of personality types and moods. There are plenty of TVs showing the local sporting matches, karaoke, big open bay windows, and a row of comfy couches for smaller parties. The clientele was older then expected, but after seeing how they handled themselves during karaoke, cooler than expected as well. Next time I visit, I just hope I dont have to drive. Some of those drinks looked awesome.

Paragon Bar and Grill is a great neighborhood hang out. Weve gone a few times now. I like it because its local, easy to get to, has a ton of parking and a great choice of alcoholic beverages. Their food is pretty good too. And the staff has always been really nice. I like that the owner usually comes around and talks to all the tables and sees how they are doing. I just like that its close to my home and I can get a giant sized cold cider to drink after a very long week at work. I havent tried any of their mixed drinks yet but Ive eyed them rather enviously as Ive seen them go to tables. They also seem to have a very large draft beer selection.

Walked in and sat at the bar and was acknowledged but wasnt asked what I wanted to drink. When I was finally asked, the bartender didnt have a tap list, but folds me they have " IPAs, Budweiser". I was then interrupted by a customer, then by the bar manager. Finally I got a beer, but it was the wrong size. I was not even asked if I to see s food menu. There place was busy but not packed. I made the conscious decision to come here instead of one of the chain restaurants that litter northridge. Never have I wished I chose a chain over a local bar.

The first time I went here with my friend we ordered four appetizers and each of them was amazing. We even ordered the brussel sprouts which neither of us normally like, but theirs are delicious. Everything Ive eaten here is fabulous but one that I especially look forward to is the tomato and burrata cheese on baguette appetizer drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette and olive oil. They have seating for tables or these wonderful big stuffed chairs if you just want to get a drink with friends. The service is good too, and they treat everyone really well.

We came here for drinks at night. There was plenty of parking. The place itself was small but it was pretty empty so we didnt have a hard time getting seats. If you like low key this place is good. The drinks were really yummy and they had some pretty unique ones. I got the strawberry mojito and it was one of the best ones Ive had. The price wasnt bad either my mojito was a good size and they only charge $8. The service was also pretty good. Our server was pretty attentive.

Not very cool, food average, took awhile to get order even though I was one of two people there, bartender seemed like she would rather be elsewhere. Later on when her friends showed up, they got fast service. Another guy had to walk up to order a drink even though he was only second guy in whole place. I tipped 50% because i thought thats all that matters there. Local place, maybe only locals matter. Owner or manager walks around in Sons of Anarchy sweatshirt

Love this place. My local. Great food,--better than standard sports bar faire--nice ambiance, and comfortable set up. Also King Trivia on Thursdays, and a variety of other activities. Check the website for details. Then go, try the burrata appetizer, the meatloaf, and the home made donuts with raspberry sauce.

The cocktails!!!!! The food is fantastic! And the Mac n Cheese!!!!!! Omg! We left Northridge and came straight here because it was recommended by a friend. The atmosphere is dope. They have pool tables and a lounge area. We also met, the owner, and he told us about the jazz club next door. Definitely coming back.

3 stars is because the bar tender was very nice. Overall ambiance was depressing as hell. $10.50 for a tall beer was a bit much. And their pork "wings", the sauce was good but the meat was so damn dry. Im guessing the high ratings for this place are for the other food items. First visit and last visit.

Excellent service. Drinks were awesome. For all the girls out there - chocolate martinis are the bomb. Food is decent Will recommend ahi tuna poke. Flat bread was more like a pizza. Place has very nice relaxing vibe. Well come back for sure.

Food was good but service was very slow. Went on trivia night and it wasnt very full. Waitress messed up our receipt and took a long time to run our cards

Good food, pretty big portions. I did think it was a little pricey tho. But overall a nice place to eat and drink. A big beer selection as well

They just changed their slider buns. That slider was the perfect mix of soft and crispy. 10/10 would recommend the buffalo chicken sliders.
