A bunch of yelpers decided to get together and we started out down the street.... we should have stayed there haha. Public School wasnt especially busy, at ALL! We were told for a group of six it would about 35-40 minutes or any table around bar or outside that has stools, was open seating. We decided on the quickest option and got a high top for 6 outside. All the tables on the patio were dirty and had dishes. That was kind of weird, seeing as the place wasnt too busy. If youve been to a busy place that has open seating, youll occasionally get snag a table that has some dishes on it. No big deal. We gathered the dishes and tableware and out it all on the edge of the table closest to the aisle. We were there for about an a hour and a half and it never go picked up, nor did the dishes on the other tables. At some point I had to go to restroom. Be careful!!! The floor is close to the kitchen and they dont put mats down. Its literally like a slip in slide. So I slide my way in to the restroom and surprise surprise it looks like a war zone. Im not going to rate the service or anything else. I try to always give constructive criticism when I give a negative review (and its rare I give one.)... so he is my constructive criticism..... CLEAN IT UP. Dear management, I took pix and posted them. So I dont need your comments trying to downplay what was going on. Take the advice and move forward. I will not be back... Check out my yelp review for pix.

Honor Roll Student? If this place is Public School, then please teacher, put me in detention because Ive been so soOo naughty. Send me here and lock the doors and hide the keys, I will be able to survive with just whats inside. That is, until I get alcohol poisoning and die from all the amazing craft draft beer (Duvel, Ellies Brown Ale, Old Rasputin, Wookey Jack, and my fav the Downtown Brown). Im not going to give you the cliff notes of the amazing menu, you will have to do your own studying. But lets just say, youre going to want to go back to school shopping, put on your best kicks, grab your favorite buddies and get to school! This A+ Burger will Change Your Life, YOUR WELCOME. C.C.B. (The Handheld Cobb) - Chicken burger, smokey tomato jam, avocado, bibb lettuce, crispy bacons, with a fried egg!!!!!) Recess begins One of the best Happy Hours in DTLA, maybe even THE best. Dont go here outside of happy hour, it wont be busy.

Food is okay. We tried burgers and some appetizers and they were of decent quality. Not outstanding but not bad. The service, on the other hand was pretty terrible: - Hostess did not even ask where we want to sit. She appeared somewhat preoccupied - We waited for our wine around 20 minted... 20 MINUTES for the bartender to pure two glasses! - Server got confused and brought wrong appetizer - More wine... we did not even ask - I was sitting with another glass for 15 minutes and the server paid no attention

Just had a double date brunch here and we truly enjoyed the experience! First of all, the service is A++. They brought out a complimentary appetizer because of our slight wait. The bloody mary is top 2 Bloody Mary ive ever had. The fried cauliflower was also amazing. I really enjoyed the chicken and grits but my friend thought hers was too soggy.. The waiter looked at her plate and could tell she wasnt a fan and he took it off the bill.. we didnt even ask for that! I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

We met up for our micro-pac (small group discussing politics and putting money where our mouths are.) I enjoyed the food. We had calamari, kale caesar, and buffalo cauliflower. All delicious. A star is lost for not so great parking - must pay. As well as the fact that they allowed a group of children on the shuffle board table behind us. The CLACK of the discs thrown together (not for playing the game but for just being crazy kids) was super annoying and kind of ruined the last bit of our night.

Lets be honest, this is a hopped up TGI Fridays. Not that there is anything wrong with TGI Fridays but dont go expecting any different experience than a TGI Fridays. The highlight is really the giant Jenga set up front that you can play with your friends as you sample their largish craft beer selection. A nice, safe, place to meet friends or work colleagues for happy hour or dinner. Kid Friendly Rating: Low (the bar scene takes up 1/3 of the restaurant).

Nice atmosphere, fun place, good place to go after work with the girls for happy hour, even the parking guys are cool. My only complaint is the very slow and inattentive service. This past Friday particularly was the worst, waited almost 15 minutes for sparkling water, long wait for drinks, server rarely stopping by to replenish water and drinks. I will say the food is very tasty.

I always feel like the host is NEVER friendly and always give a look of "What do you want!?" We came tonight to be told the wait was for 50min, was lucky enough to catch a couple leaving at the bar within 5min. But the whole time where at the restaurant there was numerous tables around the bar that NEVER got sat. Its never easy to get in.

Great food! and delicious cocktails! Fun people working there and great service. Decent prices and the variety on the menu was perfect. I like heathier food and the scallop salad was great! Parking was easy. Valet only in the parking structure but the first 90 min are free with validation. Love it! Nice vibe too!

Fantastic local spot. Great place to meet before or after the movies across the street (arclight). Excellent location to meet between the Valley and LA or the Westside. Great happy hour for food (small portions) and drinks. Late night bar action is cool as well, they have a giant Jenga! Good service and great food.

Unimpressed. The Brussels Sprouts were delicious; besides that it was disappointing. I ordered the BLT Steak Salad with medium-well steak and extra-extra-crispy bacon. I got medium rare steak at best and almost raw bacon. The Cheesiest Mac was more like pasty cardboard noodles. We wont be back.

My first time here and i enjoyed it!!! The wait was typical-10 min to get seated. I enjoyed their beer selection. The food was amazing! For appetizers, we ordered the bacon chesse tots....awesome!. For my main dish, i ordered the shorty bowl...delicious!!! I would definitely come back again.

Good food. Good drinks. It can feel a bit overpriced but not necessarily a ripoff. Most of the bar staff was cool. A couple somewhat arrogant. Wish they knew more about the beers and did not get upset if you ask a question about them. Expected better. Guess just glorified liquid capturers.

Tried out Bacon Bourbon and the cheesy fries. The Bacon Bourbon burger was good, but, not great. Really liked the cheesy fries. Still thinking about them, at this very moment. The place itself was really nice. The Halloween decorations were awesome. Will try the other menu items, next time.
