Had dinner here during a ski trip(2016 New Years eve). Didnt expect I could find a Chinese restaurant here. We went in and ordered a Combination Chow mein and sweet sour pork. It is authentic Chinese chow mein. So satisfied. We went there again and ordered two take outs the following night. If you want some Chinese food out there, you want to give this place a try.

30 years with Wendy and Larry who own it, run it and do the serving and cooking. I have been around the world and have to say "China House" of Twain Harte is the best. Our daughter whose business takes her to the Orient a great deal, says "Better than anywhere"....she knows. The reviews are essentially all 5 stars. Correct.

I know the owner so I am a little biased, on the other hand, I am usually much harder on a review for people I know. The food here is very good. Service has always been friendly and top notch. Specials, made by Larry himself, are always superb. The place is always clean and comfortable, they even have a fireplace))

The address is on the wrong side of the road. But other than that the food is great! Especially concerning their price and quality of food. I enjoy getting their white rice with sweet and sour sauce added on top, great snack.
