For the longest time I always associated Red Robin with Round Table Pizza. Red Robin-Round Robin-Round Table. Most of this was because the nearest location was 20+ miles from me and ate there so rarely. I always see the commercials and feel out of the loop on the RR culture with the whole "yum" hum but frankly either ignored or didnt see that for years the way they make us feel we all should. Initially I thought the chain to be somewhat like "chillis" with their ribs association I too figured the burgers here would be amazing, but as we all know Chillis ribs are not the business and Red Robin burgers just cant compete with the 2011 Burger revolution. Its as if the whole world became burger connoisseurs overnight. No longer will mediocre ingredients be acceptable as by now most everyone has had an excellent burger that blew away years and even decades of old cooking thinking. That may seem harsh, but when you look at the rest of the menu here its actually quite good. For a chain restaurant they have very consistent and good sides, entrees and appetizers, obviously there is no executive chef making everything from scratch, and they do manage to step away from the whole "waiting" cloak as they are somewhat kid friendly, yet they are able to keep the rif raf boozers apart from any innocent bystanders by sheer architecture and layout unlike other places. Its a large location thats clean and new. Service is usually impeccable at all locations and my first few times here they lived up to the billet, but my last experience was sub par. Just slow, I mean Ill give them that they get packed because The District can be a pile sometimes and parking can suck a bit, but over 2 hours during HH I waited half the time for drinks and ended up moving to Dubliner and then to sushi for dinner. I actually would have loved to stay and eat there and the reason we left Dubliner was it was too bar foodish. If your thinking of eating and a Chillis or Applebees, try Red Robin first. If your looking for a good burger, look elsewhere because the flavor profiles are great here, but its a new era and burgers and food in general. Red Robin is to burgers what Shock Top is to beer, better than domestic coors, but not craft enough to hang with a micro.

I have tried coming to this place several times now. They have more often than not messed up orders. This isnt so bad when youre in the restaurant and it can be fixed but when its a to go order it stinks even more. One of the mess up occasions in the restaurant the manager came and tried to make things right. Im giving it a two star for that. But when something gets sent back to the kitchen for having cheese on it and it comes back with the same cheese on it barely scrapped off thats a problem. Then having the manager say that it is policy to use new ingredients for things sent back. I dont think the employees would go against what has been directed to them by management. Maybe a front of staff and kitchen miscommunication?

Terrible.. Stopped in on Friday evening and decided to sit out in the patio, we overheard the hostess asking one of the waiters if he would take care of our table and his respond to her was no.. Needles to say no one ever came out to serve us even though we waited for over 15 minutes. We did see another server that was taking care of an adjacent table and asked her if she could get someone for us , well we waited another 5 minutes and decided to go else where since no one ever came in.

I havent been to a RR in a very long time, mainly due to the fact that I am a Homeless Bum and eating out at nice eateries is not an option for me. However, every now and than one must treat ones self to remember how life could be, to remind ones self how the other half lives. The help is like anywhere else, mostly, if not all the same nationality. The food, made me feel like a million bucks though. The pepper something or other burger was Very tasty and the Garlic

The worst service Ive ever had at a red robin. Came in and was told the wait would be 20min waited 40 min, took the server 10 min to bring our drinks out and we asked that put fries come out first because the kids were pretty hungry and that didnt happen either. The hostess staff seemed to be annoyed and the server acted as if the restaurant was busy when there were open tables all around. I wont be returning to this location.

I love The Red Robin Gourmet Burgers! My boyfriend and I have dined here twice, once for dinner and another time for brunch. On both times we had excellent service and the food was delicious. We thought parking would be an issue since the lot was small but there seems to an empty spot or two on the streets. Well definitely be back to try the other items on their menu.

Almost too accommodating. Accepted two groups of 25 without reservation on a Friday night and were subsequently well under staffed. Very slow service. The food is great and its a really nice location, just wish they would allocate their resources better. The whole restaurant shouldnt get substandard service because two groups chose to show up at 8pm on a Friday.

Now they are all about the "gourmet burgers" elevating their basic-ness from before. They now have signature burgers that use Ciabatta bread, great ingredients like fresh peppers and others. Dont worry, still have the same burgers from before (Love that Royal burger w/ EGG!). New Cashier system too allows you to split bill according to what you order. Big+

This a new Red Robin! Its got an updated style and branding compared to other Red Robin restaurants Ive been to, but the biggest difference is that there is way less Americana on the walls. The food was what youd expect from a Red Robin, but they seemed a bit understaffed. Its a good place to stop before seeing a movie at the nearby AMC.

Horrible customer service. While sitting at the bar we could see our food sitting for over twenty minutes whilst being completely ignored by about five people walking back and forth. We left cash to pay for the soda they brought out and never refilled and left this place never to go to a Red Robins again.

Food is always good. Servers are always great never really had a bad visit to this place. Went in here one time just to get my birthday burger and was treated no different than other paying customers at the time. Of course I left a good tip for the lady that got my food ready.

Very low quality burgers for what youre paying for. The only slightly redeeming points are the endless fries (that are just okay) and the free burger on your birthday rewards program. I would suggest going to the in-n-out next door instead.

Everything was bland. Ordered a medium rare burger & it came out well done covered in grease. Bottomless mushy soggy nasty fries. Watered down sauces. The list of BAD is endless. Slow service, not even busy. IT SUCKS here!!!

Great burgers. I found the move to use kiosks at the tables interesting but it seems like theyre not fully embracing the potential there. I always love the food and never have complaints about the service.
