Large sandwiches taste great and a bit on the pricey side. Expect to spend $11-$15 dollars for a sandwich and a drink. You walk through a line past a refrigerator with bottled or canned drinks (you can order fountain drinks at the counter) before getting to the ordering counter. After placing your order with the indifferent this-is-a-McJob employee you wait in two seating areas: The one to the left of the ordering counter where they call your name for food pickup, or the one to the right where the restroom is located and not quite within hearing distance when they call your name. I dont know why the employees dont ALWAYS use the intercom when calling out customer names. There is outside seating for those beautiful Truckee afternoons. Overall its an OK place for a sandwich but a more enthusiastic vibe when Im ordering at the counter would be nice considering the cost of the meal.

This is our hands-down favorite lunch place in Truckee. Just had the BEST Chocolate Chip Cardamom Ice Cream Sandwich (yes we ate it first). We loved all of our three sandwiches today, but then laughed when we said how great they are, because we havent ever had something we didnt love. Today we ordered a chicken caesar wrap, a turkey melt panini, and todays special (divine!) Tritip Sando. Full Belly Delis soups always rock, and todays Roasted Garlic Cauliflower soup was to die for. We are SO happy you are open Saturdays now! Thanks for keeping our bellies full - and happy - in Truckee!

Everything is delicious, especially the breakfast. The specials are dope as well, the only and when I say only cons are lack of a permanent turkey pesto sandwich and in my opinion everythingis on the lunch menu is about a dollar over priced, especially considering that the location isnt downtown or anything. Still though def worth checking out I go a couple times a week and location is down the road like a minute from where google claims it is, on Pioneer Trail

Can I just say... absolutely nothing right now because these sandwiches are so freaking bomb diggity?!! The Truckee location has the snaps and the flavor that the Reno location unfortunately still lacks, with a great vibe and friendly customer base every time I hit Truckee. Clean, fresh, prompt service with a smile, and great drink selection too. Team Dirka Dirka for life!

Such good sandwiches!! Think high-end sandwiches (but not expensive). The breakfast BLT and Tri-Tip Junkyard are my favorites! They have hot or cold sandwiched and build your own to suit any taste. This place can get pretty packed come lunch time, so its a good idea to order ahead if you are in a hurry.

Places in downtown truckee or on donner pass road near 89 tend to get crazy crowded on weekends. This place is just far enough away that it doesnt draw huge crowds. I had the dirka dirka and loved it. The portions are huge, and if youre not starving, a sandwich can easily be shared between two.

Absolutely THE best sandwich Ive ever had. The bread was fantastic! The sandwich was huge and I ate every single bit of it. I dont live anywhere near Truckee but I wish I did just to eat their sandwiches. I cant say enough about it and would recommend this place in a heart beat. So good!

Great local spot where everyone seems to be on a first name basis. And hallelujah they had wonderful gluten free bread! Family of 5 ate their fill for $58 including drinks. We had 2 Thai coconut curry chicken soup, a Cuban, tuna melt (GF bread), sub on sourdough. Wonderful food!

This deli is AMAZING. I ordered the meatball sandwich on Parmesan-oregano bread. The bread was super soft and fresh, and all of the ingredients were delicious. The meat to cheese to marinara ratio was perfect. Best meatball sub Ive ever had by far. Highly recommend!!!

If you dont like mayonnaise on your sandwich dont go here, they will put mayonnaise on no matter how many times you ask for no mayo. It doesnt matter if you say you are f***ing allergic to it, they will coat your sandwich in it. Its not worth the headache, dont bother

We ordered 3 sandwiches: Cuban, tri tip and BLT on different kinds of bread. They were big and filling but the meats were not very good. We were all disappointed. Would not recommend it. Sandwiches are about $10 each.

Their hot sandos are the absolute best but you really cant go wrong; from the fresh speciality breads to excellent soups and finely crafted hoagies; this place is a regular stop for us when were here for the weekend

First timer, had a Wheat Cheese Steak onion, mushroom, provolone.. OMG it was a fantastic tasting sandwich!.. I want a second one. Dining inside, jamming music, great atmosphere. Well deserving a 5 star rating!

The food here is amazing. I suggest you skip the espresso or coffee unless there is someone there who really knows how to make them. I have tried buying coffee a half dozen times and its never been good.

Had a few hour layover in Truckee while my vehicle was being serviced at a nearby german auto shop. My wife and I walked over to this deli and found it to be spectacular. Definitely worth a stop in.

I work close by so that makes it very dangerous; they have amazing breakfast specials every day, their sandwiches are pretty much two meals, they have reasonable prices, and amazing service.

Enormous sandwiches and wraps. I mean, seriously enormous. I enjoy the Thai Chicken Wrap. The order processing system from the register to the kitchen is fun to watch.

If youve never been here, try the gnar burrito for breakfast and the dirkadirka for lunch. The only downside to this place is that theyre closed on Sunday

Out of the way, but still very busy. Sandwiches are amazing and they have nice outdoor seating with plenty of shade. Dog friendly outside as well.

They had a siracha terryaki special, called the srirachiyaki... how cool is that. It was also one of the best sandwhiches I have ever had

Best sandwiches and wraps in all of Truckee / Tahoe. I highly recommend their breakfast burritos. Delicious, fresh, and creative flavors.

Clearly overrated. Pastrami was overcooked and weakly flavored. Tuna was mushy. I dont get the rave reviews. Anyone been to a real deli?

Delicious gluten free sub that actually had good tasting bread. Music was at a pleasant background volume to allow for conversation.
