Not bad at all. Having moved to Taft from a big city in February of 2010, I have found there is not much to do and almost nowhere to eat out, except for the OT Cook House & Saloon. I like a good fish and baked potato w/SC&C, and they do a pretty fair job. I always come away satisfied. Its clean, the service is excellent, and the Saloon serves good drinks in a congenial atmosphere. OK value. All in all, I highly recommend it.

Im in town for business, and eating here was a Great call, they have the 3 things, what one always hopes they can get eating at a not known restuarant. Great Food, Great Prices. & Great Service. I got the Parmesan sandwich, chicken was big and delicous. I recommend it. My friend had the Bacon wrapped ground sirloin and onion rings, they were also excellent.

My sister and I ate there ad loved it! She got the fried shrimp and they were huge and delicious and served with fries, I got the beef stroganoff and got a platter full of wonderful tender beef with noodles and a sauce to dream of. The service was good and it was very clean. I definitely recommend stopping here.

I was in Taft a few weeks ago and let me tell you. The food was bad the service was worse. Lets not forget the disgusting bathrooms. Oh ya and it was way over priced.. I will never eat here again..........................
