Me n wife love this place awesome deep fried asparagus n i hate that stuff but I ate it n it was very tasty the shrimp fried rice is fresh big jumbo butter fly shrimp we have gone to other Chinese food places but nothing comes close to this place not a good neighborhood but there is a fenced in parking lot they should move to a different location there business would boom because the food is really really good my wife n i highly recommend this place

This food is gross . Bland as can be straight up waste of money. The waiter was excellent and polite BUT the food was horrible. I order the lemon chicken my boyfriend order the sweet and sour pork and we both sent the food back to the kitchen and refused to pay for it but payed for everything else like shrimp and crab puff. We left full on soda. Which was flat and that was b4 the tap water they service us never going back there again.

Great Chinese food that is fresh and delicious. It is best to eat off of their "Dinners" menu with multiple people. The waiters are delightful and the restaurant design is sure to please any Indiana Jones fan. They do add a %10 tip fee on the check automatically but it is well deserved by the crew. The food is cooked fresh and served promptly. Probably the best Chinese restaurant in San Joaquin county.

We have had food from most of the chinese food joints around town and On Lok Sam is really good, but some items just dont match up. In particular the sweet and sour pork, not even comparable to Peking or Dave Wongs. But overall great food, awesome walnut prawns, but a horrible location. Scary sometimes during the day, not really but at night I could only imagine.

1954: Give or take a year, or two. Thats the first time I visited On Lock Sam restaurant. And if the food and service today is only 10% as good as it was 60 years ago, its still the finest Chinese restaurant in Stockton. Maybe in the entire San Joaquin valley. Youve never been there? Dont deprive yourself any longer. Go! You wont be disappointed.

BEST CHINESE FOOD IVE HAD IN A LOOOOOONGGG TIME! 2 thumbs up on the traditional look of the place and the service was superb! To each there own but I must say the mongolian beef was... speechless. A must try restaurant, traditional, clean, service is good, and prices are decent.

The food is great, but the rat on the wall last week traumatized me. One of the cooks whacked him with a broom so hard I was sure his skull was smashed. Nope, he dropped down to the floor and scurried off. Do we call PETA or City of Stockton??

Established in 1898 the 3rd generation family is still running this restaurant. Best Chinese food in the Central valley, Stockton, California. Full bar. Private curtained rooms for 2-8 people. Not best location tho so leave before dark!
