The food in horrible. This was the worst Indian food Ive ever had. I ordered the chicken tandoori and a few other items. They claim to be authentic Indian but this is not the case. When I complained to the owner Prashanti Singh. He did not offer me an alternative item or a refund, instead he wanted to debate with me about my experience with the food. I thought his response was bad business and poor customer service. Most restaurants would apologize and try to make it right. I am accustomed to fine dining and great customer service. I do not recommend eating at this restaurant. The place is always empty.

Food is pretty ok, comparable to any generic indian restaurant; service could be far better. Hostess took down my takeout order wrong and argued with me later about how I must have ordered wrong. Then she has the nerve to tell me she could place *another* order for me, without making even a gesture of apology re. all this waste of my time and money. Um, no thanks! Ordering takeout should not be this complicated. Not going back because of the unpleasantness.

My sister and I went in for dinner. Having it be our first time there we werent really sure what to get but were in for trying anything. The beautiful and lovely waitress Anita had assisted us and brought out a few different dishes for us to try. The food was delicious and very unique but the customer service was just phenomenal! Thank you Anita for your great service and for offering us some of your delicious dishes off the menu.

Great food. I eat paleo most of the time and they have excellent chicken, fish and goat. Salad and vegetables also available. Price is like 12 bucks for lunch buffet and they have amazing garlic nan (spelling is probably wrong). People complain about customer service for a buffet? If you want "fine dining" spend 30 dollars for lunch elsewhere. They staff is super warm and friendly. Cant imagine why there would be poor reviews.

I havent had Indian food this good since eating at Gandhi Indian Restaurant at the El Camino Real near Burlingame about 15 years ago. Although I am accustomed to a milder tasting Indian Food, Rasoi is genuinely authentic in spice and taste. The place is new and upcoming and I think it will be a hit. If yourereally seeing this reiview, I am not a paid patron. You should stop by and try it!

Friendly staff, good start for future growth. We need more Indian food in this area, so we are hoping to see success. I liked the fish. The lamb was very tender. The chicken curry and butter chicken were ok. The tandoori chicken needs more spice and longer marinade. All in all, off to a good start. Listen to your audience and you will go far.

Best place to have lunch! The food is great, a lot of options to choose from with the buffet! The service was excellent as well, the owner stopped by at our table, asked how were doing and what they could improve on. You can tell they really care about the customer and their opinions. Ill be coming back soon.

Currently offering lunch and dinner buffet for the first 3 months and are constantly offering new items to decide what to put on menu. Staff is friendly, naan is fresh and most dishes are solid. Great to see an Indian restaurant in the newer capital village area of Rancho Cordova. Will definitely visit again.

Great new Indian place for the busy 9 to 5 worker! Great atmosphere and taste. Note they only have buffet until the end of April and then they will release a menu for ordering. Also waiting for a liquor license but thats not a big deal. Giving it 4 stars for now until I can try other dishes from a menu!

No snacks available for Vegetarians. My friend who is a Vegetarian is just having main course while we are eating chicken and fish starters. Felt bad for him. Wont come in a group.
