Homegrown Bagels are the only bagels I eat. I dont think I ate a bagel before I had one of Stuarts. I moved to Lodi 22 years ago for a few years. A co-worker from Sonoma would come to the Lodi branch where I worked and bring me a Homegrown Bagel because he knew how much I loved them. I moved back home to Sonoma and I still have not found a better bagel. People will offer me bagels but I just cant eat them. I tell them to go to Homegrown Bagel if you want a real bagel. My favorite sandwich is the whole wheat and rasin bagel with veggies. Yum! They are all good though. My daughter, who still lives in Lodi always buys a dozen to take home with her. Lovin Homegrown!

Stopped in for a quick bagel. Ended up leaving with a bag of bagels, two beverages and 2 open-faced tuna melt bagels!! Wonderful, fairly priced, quick and delicious! We even met the owner, Stuart. Nice guy, friendly staff. (Be warned, cash or local check only). A definately must for locals.

Great bagels! Had their Lox special, and it was prefect. Best part was when I didnt have cash on me he let me "just pay him back next time"! Wow talk about small town trust! Restores my hope in humanity!
