This place used to be great, I dont know what happened! Upon entering the empty shop, the three ladies working behind the counter stood there chatting amongst themselves, completely ignoring their customers. I had to let them know, "Im ready when you are," to which they seemed confused. I was always taught to greet customers and offer assistance when employed in these positions, which seems completely lost on this establishment. The snickerdoodle cruffles, once raved about among friends, tasted about a week old, dried out and shuffled in and out of the display case/refrigerator for a few too many days. The cupcake of month for July is probably the best thing Ive ever had from Sift, but the sheer amount of heavy, too-sweet, dense frosting is a waste when you have to remove 1/3 of if to be able to enjoy the rest of the cupcake.

Sorry, I seem to be outnumbered here, but our experience today with Sift cupcakes was not like others. I had the Irish Car Bomb. It was such an average and standard cupcake, that I dont know what all the fuss is about. The cake part was actually somewhat dry and "rubbery". Not impressed. My wife had something called The Sky is Falling Chocolate. She didnt like hers either - dry cupcake and flavors nothing to get excited about. Cant recommend this place at all, especially for the price.

So far the only thing thats blown me away is the frosting on the Samoa cupcake. We bought 5 cupcakes, and I wasnt impressed. I was pretty disappointed in the red velvet, its terrible right out of the refrigerator case...maybe if it came to room temperature before eating it would be tastier...but i dont feel like spending another $3.50 to find out. The lemoncello was just OK.

OMG the best cupcakes Ive ever had. Im getting married soon and I should be watching what im eating but when I tried these cupcakes that all went out the window. Anytime I have out of town visitor I always stop here for some treats for my guest! Plus my maid of honor said we will be having these at my my party shes throwing me! So excited!

The cupcakes are really neat. I love the frosting. The actual cake part though is a bit too rich for me. But these are nice, and people love when you bring them to an outing! Just be prepared to feel like a brick is sitting in your stomach after you eat one. These are heavy!

I use to love this place but over the last year it feels like they are just globbing tons of frosting on so so cupcakes. The flavor combos are good and I enjoy the cake truffles. Staff is always nice as well! But this isnt the go to cupcake place now for our family.
