I have always liked California Pizza Kitchens food and its quality. I have been to many of their other locations and have never had any problems. I recently placed a Take-out order with this location. When I got to the restaurant, I could not find any employee that would give me the time of day. I stood at the take-out counter for about five minutes trying to get someones attention. I figured that maybe my food wasnt ready yet. I got tired of standing, so I sat down in the waiting area. To make a long story short, I spent an additional 10 minutes trying to get some help, after that I walked out. A customer on the phone got paid more attention then I did. I called the restaurant as I was driving away and asked about the status of my order. To add insult to injury, they told me that it had been ready for 20 minutes. I will not be returning to this location, I will be taking my business to the one in Thousand Oaks.

I love CPK but not in Simi Valley though. I always go to Burbank CPK or Hollywood CPK so I expected same CPK in Simi Valley. Honestly, the food was okay. HOWEVER, THE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE. No refill and the server was very unpleasant. She didnt even smiling while shes serving and didnt even come by til we finish our meal. She came to our table. When she got our drink, food and bill. Whats wrong with her? CPK needs train that waitress. Because of her, they can lose lots of good customers.

I have been to this location many times. I have always enjoyed the food, been treated well by the servers, and been pleased with the cleanliness. This has become my favorite place to take people for meetings and to get to know them. CPK always makes a good impression on my guests and provides us a clean, upscale place to talk. I go back here often. In fact, Im heading there for dinner tonight.

I have been here 3 times for special occassions with my two sons. Today I even took our 70 pound female bull dog puppy Bijou. As usual the service was great.Stefani and Summer are super. The new menu is welcome. It is a tasty,well maintained, friendly and relaxing on a sunday afternoon. Well located half way between the coast and Porter Ranch for meeting family. Thank you James

ordered Mahi Mahi fish tacos. Doubt Mahi Mahi, looked more like Tapia. heavily seasoned, not flaky, white, heavily breaded and fried fish. paid for Mahi Mahi, looked like cheap tapia. taste C- for the taco itself. two dry wedges of lime for 3 tacos. I wont order fish tacos there in the future. They should stick to pizzas.

Our waiter was also the bartender, which would have been OK if we were seated in the bar. General manger was running food which leads me to believe they were understaffed. The food was great though and if the service was on par with the price of the meal it would have been 4 stars.

The food is high quality and tastes good, but.. Every other time I get something, they get my order wrong. They throw a fit and act like its not their fault, and make me pay the extra money for something I did not order.

We just got done eating at California pizza kitchen in Simi valley. The food was great but our waiter Ryan was by far the best server I have ever had! Great job Ryan and thanks for the making dinner fun!
