Tonight I took my family to The Six to celebrate my dads 76th birthday. Ive taken my wife before and the food was always great, the service was decent. Tonight was a horrible experience. The place was packed on a Sunday night. We had a reservation. There were two servers for what seemed to be the entire restaurant. Our server was Alexis (a young blond who was very green). Since it was my parents first time, I asked her to talk about what dishes people love. Her reply was pretty much "Oh, well we have salad and pizza,".....Spending $500 for dinner for our small group, a more appetizing description would have been nice. I assume she just started, and have never served before. Our dinner was served first, then they brought out our salads after the dinner... They forgot to bring my Moms dinner all together. It was very hard to get service. When I told her that they never brought my Moms dinner, she didnt seem to care. She didnt bring enough spoons with the desserts. It would take 20 minutes to find someone to get more spoons. After a few hours, I tried to pay so we can leave. For the life of me I couldnt get her attention whenever we needed anything. I had to follow her around to try and give her the check. A very embarrassing experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Too bad since the food, drinks, and setting are good.

Ok - I absolutely loved this place. Everything we had was fantastic. Fried mac wasnt greasy and had a nice spice. I dont like BBQ sauce really and loved the one that came with the mac. It was a little creamy. My boyfriend had the NY steak and declared it the best NY hes ever had (and we go to a lot of steakhouses) It was very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. And, the fries they have are my favorite kind. Home made and crunchy! I had the mushroom and truffle pizza. Seriously delicious. Napolean style crust. This was the best crust Ive also had in a long while. Cons - Its SO LOUD inside. If you can go on a night where it isnt 100 after the sun sets i suggest possibly sitting outside.

Great service. Everyone is friendly and nice. The food comes fast. Cool outside seating area. Parking is hard to find, you may have to pay for valet if you cant find a space on the curb. Had the Italian pizza, didnt taste spectacular but had a decent flavor. Went primarily for drinks. Any beer on draft is very good. My drink of choice was the Calabasas Heat, it comes with Tequila, jalapeno, lime, and cucumber. Very refreshing, very unique in flavor. I will definitely come back and explore the menu a bit more.

Two words - happy hour. Get here at the right time and hit up the happy hour menu. Then load up on buffalo cauliflower, pizzas, and Moscow Mules. Lots of gluten-free and vegan options here as well, and they all taste ouf of this world. The Six is doing it right. Parking kind of sucks though so youve been warned. Grab an uber or lyft and make it two mules in that case.

Honestly I very seldom write reviews but this place would have won my heart. Awesome food, great atmosphere and allergy friendly. One huge set back: our waitress. Never have I felt more uncomfortable she would not stop making extremely condescending remarks and made us feel as though we had to beg for her attention. Sorry six youve lost my business

Unassuming menu at first glance - appetizers, pizza, salads - but actually a foodie place. We tried several dishes and all were prepared beautifully: tuna poke in crispy wontons, a spring pea-mushroom risotto, and a flatbread pizza with mission fig, balsamic reduction and goat cheese.

All is good here! Great atmosphere located in old town calabasas. Interesting menu and fabulous happy hour. Once in a while they have performances in the back that makes a night for a cozy suburban restaurant. Drinks are well made. Try the steak!

I love this place! Its great for lunch, happy hour (you can even bring your kids for the happy hour bites if you sit on the patio), dinner and late night. I recommend the buffalo cauliflower, brussel sprouts, vanilla beat salad and short rib tacos!

My Hubby and I went here for a date night. Nice place and let me just say we loved the Pizza! We got a pizza and burger to share and the burger was cooked just right too. We will defiantly be coming back and recommending to our friends!

The staff at The Six were awesome. Our party of 14 showed up withOUT reservations and they accommodated us instantly, finding extra chairs and tables. The food was great and the Moscow Mules relish! We loved the Vanilla Roasted Beats!

I go to Guidos every other weekend and I love it. Im so sorry to hear they are closing around October 5, 2013. A bistro type restaurant will be taking the spot. I will certainly miss Guidos!!!!!!!!!
