Came in with mild expectations, but left a true fan! As we walked through the big heavy doors and into contemporary surroundings, we were greeted by a friendly server. Inexplicably, while we were being seated, an restaurant employee broke a wine glass while rearranging the items on our big round table. The clean up was not the most thorough with tiny shards of glass still present and the employee did not seem very apologetic. We politely requested that they look over the table again and finally the rest of the glass was removed and the dinnerware and silverware all replaced with new sets. Being a Monday, our party decided to go for their "Wine Dinner for Two" all day special. You get a selected bottle of wine, two field green salads, and two entrees of choice. I thought this was a great deal for $50! I came during the first week of the new year, however, the price has since then been raised to $60. I ordered the "Brick" Chicken and it was appropriately juicy and tender. The sides were tasty as well. I will be back to try their filet mignon and/or other red meat options. Before we left, the manager personally came to apologize for the trouble caused by the broken wine glass and graciously gave us a discount as well! That was most definitely a pleasant surprise.

I had the pleasure of having lunch Paul Martins American Grill. After ordering the pastrami sandwich with French fries, it didnt take more than 10 minutes until my food arrived. The food was very well made with crispy buttered bread and thinly sliced pastrami. The dijon mustard added a great texture to the sandwich, enhancing the overall experience. The service was exceptional and Carly did an amazing job at taking care of me. Its servers like her that make the client experiance so pleasant. I would give the food solid 4 but the service really took it to another level. Im looking forward to coming back here to try the butternut squash soup.

Paul Martins is a great addition to South Lake in Pasadena. The atmosphere, food and service is beyond outstanding. Our waitress Stephanie was awesome. She knew everything about the menu. Stephanie recommend the Chimichurri Chicken for my wife and I had the Grilled Poblano Chile Relleno. The food presentation and taste was excellent. Our table server Refugio was even fun and memorable. Please check this place out. Great for special occasions. Well worth it. Well be back.

PAUL MARTINS On Lake Avenue has an incredible staff. JOSEPH the G.M. really cares about each and every aspect of this restaurant. Food Quality is paramount, friendly service is his trademark, each and every member of his staff understand this goal, and every detail is never overlooked cleanliness is a top priority. Most importantly the G.M. wants every customer to enjoy a stellar restaurant experience including the bar experience! Keep up the great work Joseph!

I go out a lot & find my self somewhat satisfied with most of the restaurants that I go to. This was one of the Best Meals that I have experienced in years. The Ambiance, the Service, the well portioned & prepared meal. I couldnt ask for a thing that I didnt get on my own. Best Birthday Dinner Ever. (In my excited kids voice)

Went during happy hour (4-7) during opening week. Our wait staff were very pleasant, informative and helpful. Tried the smoked chicken wings, runs, lettuce cups and copious amounts of happy hour martinis. Everything was very good, the wind we by far my favorite, very smokey and a great options. Will come back.

Nice place with a great happy hour, just watch out if you have allergies. They were great working with us, but we didnt realize that even though the fries has their own oil, the tots, pictured, had bacon in them and went into the fry oil. Drinks were decent, champagne lemonade may be a new favorite of mine.

This place is hit or miss. I mainly come for the most amazing cream of mushroom soup. Its creamy, has tons of chopped mushrooms and is topped of with croutons and scallion oil. Sometimes it lacks consistency, I have had bowls that were really under seasoned and bowls that were over salted.

Paul Martins is a fun place to meet after work. The have daily happy hour drink specials and a extensive happy hour menu. Wait staff is attentive. nice and well trained. I like their vegetarian hamburger. Fun place to visit. You will probably run into someone you know.

Had the Bistro Burger Goat cheese Avocado and Bacon . Really good ! Sweet Potato fries Excellent , Lemon Drop top notch, Chicken moist, The Sauce on that Salmon was tastey and the Salmon was very moist . First time I been there and I had a wonderful experience!

Go there for the amazing happy hour. Check out the Meyer Lemon Drop for $5, its more than worth it. Also, if youre there on a Tuesday you must try the Fried Chicken Special... absolutely amazing.
