Hi kamil, It is with great sadness that I write this. I have been frequenting your restaurants for over two years and most recently the Woodland Hills location. Today I was treated so rudely by one of your managers, Steven, that I had to reach out to you and let you know what happened. I called in a take out order and when I arrived my schedule changed so I was able to eat it at your restaurant. The person Who had taken my order over the phone said go ahead take a seat anywhere in the restaurant which I did. About 10 minutes later Steven came over to say to me and said in a very condescending and rude voice "next time you come into this restaurant you must check in with the host before you just go ahead and take a seat." he never once identified who he was and asked me what my name was war asked me what happened. As he walked away I said wait a minute your staff told me to sit here and that is why Im here. He then turned around and said "whatever" and then walked over to the employee that told me to sit here and yelled at him. I at that point felt so embarrassed and treated so poorly that I gathered my things and got everything to go. As I was walking out I saw him and I said you treated me incredibly rude what do you have to say he looked at me and said and said absolutely nothing. Beside him were two other employees who were snickering at me. What did I do wrong here, did I do something that violated some policy of yours. It just doesnt seem the proper way to treat a customer. I hope you respond. I do not want to post a bad review on yelp because I really love your restaurants. I just want to make sure that this guy never treats another customer like this again

I was really happy when Blu Jam expanded into the valley. When I lived in Hollywood, this was my go to breakfast place. Unfortunately, the service at this location has ruined the good memories of Blu Jam for me. On three different occasions, three hostesses have sat people that had arrived after me, before me. The first was because a guest kept complaining about the wait time, the second time the MOD sat his friends that had walked in and had waited maybe 5 min in front of people that had been there for over an hour waiting for a table. I was supposed to be the next group sat, so I had witnessed the scenario play out and the third was a different hostess sat a two people that had walked in after me because I told her MY HANDICAP boyfriend was walking in and was just a little slower because he was on crutches. Ive written this place off. There are much better breakfast places in the valley that arent as expensive and have terrific service and even better food.

I went on a Friday morning to avoid the weekend rush. It took about 15 minutes to be seated which was exactly how long they said it would take. I got a savory dish and my friend got the crunchy french toast, which is the signature dish. Both items were to die for! The food was SO GOOD! The menu also offered many options for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free. The service was ok, nothing really worth commenting on. The server seemed in a rush but he had a lot of tables. He still managed to make sure we had everything we needed and get us our food promptly. Overall, because the food was so delicious, I will definitely be back.

I genuinely do not understand the appeal of this place. Its meh brunch food on the $$ bracket. I guess because of the vegetarian and some vegan options? But its really not impressive as the options were already vegetarian. I came here with my sister and she said her food was just alright. I got the mushroom soup and it was tasty but definitely not worth a trip on its own. We overheard two couples (after initially being seated) debate leaving after seeing the unimpressive menu. We also debated the same thing but unfortunately stayed. The server was very friendly, though!

This place must have a killer PR team. Lots of hype, but the reality doesnt quite back it up. Youll likely wait for a while for a table (only to find a bunch of open tables when you finally get in), then youll no doubt order their "must have" item - the Crunchy French Toast. It makes for a great instagram pic, and the first bite is delicious - but then you realize its pretty over-fried, very heavy, and kind of a chore to eat. The food here is good. Nothing amazing, good. Worth the wait and price? Not in our opinion.

The food is excellent and very well prepared. Their french toast is their signature dish. You are a breakfast lover this place is for you. The prices are very good. You get a large amount of food for the prices you pay. This place gets 10 for customer service and 9 for the food. They also have an excellent lunch menu from sandwiches to burgers. If you are vegetarian or a meat lover you will enjoy this place. They have another location on Melrose too. Its a plus to have parking to have easy access to the restaurant.

Blu Jam was a recent LA discovery and I am SO glad that it made it into my short weekend stay. AMAZING breakfast. So, heres the skinny (well, might want to call it fattie, since youll want to come wearing sweatpants): 1) CRUNCHY FRENCH TOAST: Get it. This place has the best french toast I have ever had. Light, crunch and super flavorful. Nomz. 2) Egg Sandwich: Sounds simple, and it sort of is, but it is not only enormous and deliciously fresh but it is done to perfection.

When I came here, my Cali friends told me to get the French toast. I should listen to them more - this French toast is the platonic ideal of breakfast food. The French toast managed to be soft and fluffy on the inside, while crisped with a corn flake batter (a recipe of which Im disappointed to relay, is nearly impossible to replicate at home). What tops off this delicious breakfast is the vanilla bean syrup, which turns a fantastic breakfast into a out of this world breakfast

I finally got to try Blu Jam after 3 years of reading my friends daily check-ins about their amazing breakfasts. I went for a lunch meeting but thanks to their "breakfast all day" still got a great omelette. The Burgundy omelette was delish but Ill definitely come back to try the famous crunchy french toast and fancy coffee. I was lucky enough to find parking in the small lot in back but it looked like there was plenty of street parking too. Good stuff!

This place is awesome.. I highly recommend it for breakfast or lunch.. The customer service is off the charts and the manager Reggie is a sweetheart and really understands how important his customers are.. All the employees really took good care of us. The menu is eclectic and fun. The food was great. I had eggs benedict and I highly recommend them and their amazing coffee. Dont miss this place for a fun breakfast or lunch every day of the week

Good, interesting menu. Good-tasting breakfast dishes, although two totally different things ordered looked identical, with identical color, shape and presentation. Staff was friendly, although I had to request a coffee refill from three different people before I finally got one. It was about 15 minutes after the first request that I finally got it. Wait time to get seated at 11:40 AM ona Wednesday was averaging 20-25 minutes.
