This is the best breakfast in Kern Valley. My knowledge of cafe breakfast abroad gives me credible knowledge. This is the country diner in the movies where everyone knows one another and is friendly as Andy Griffith. Now lets get to the good stuff....the grub. Country fried steak is a country sized portion. My wife and I and child split this one meal and were satisfied. This is in my top 5 all time favorite diners out of hundreds.

Usually great service, however today service is lousy and slow. Coffee cup sat empty for almost 15 minutes. No straws for our driveway is,and when I asked they seemed inconvenienced by the whole think. The waitress I usually have was not here. I do enjoy their food and usually their staff as well. Off day I suppose

I come here every weekend. Sometimes several times a week. It is one of my two favorite place to eat in my small town. They not only have excellent food but the staff is incredible!! Thank you Candice for a great place to eat!!

Dont order chicken fried steak! !!it was overcooked so bad, like a piece of cardboard with gravy on it, I should have sent it back! !! The worst that I ever had! !! I have no other complaints, nice people ,clean reasonable! !
