Burrito joints are not rare in Southern California. What is rare is a place that makes their own tortillas and has this kind of variety of beverages. Where else are you going to go for a refreshing limeade with mint drink? I got a chicken burrito (not enchilada style) and found the shredded chicken to be juicy and full of flavor. Of course the tortilla stood out due to its freshness as well. We also got the queso dip, which seems to be some kind of glorified velveeta (in the best possible way). If I could recommend a change to the owner, it would be to reduce the salt added to foods. Youll definitely be drinking more to wash down that salty yummy taste.

This particular location is very poorly managed. The Cafe Rio in Palmdale is much better. This one is super slow. The "workers here" are checking their text messages and screwing around in the back while the line moves as slow as molasses. Im watching two guys socialize in the back right now while only one lady attempts to make all the food at the counter. Ive even waited for a cashier to come from the back to ring me up. Also, other locations look neat and clean. This one is a mess behind the counter.

I thought the food would be good, similar to Chipotle. The food was horrible. I ordered cheese enchiladas. They were swimming in a very salty and sweet white sauce, not at all like enchilada sauce. The portion of beans and rice were small, and also covered in the disgusting salty, sweet sauce. They have very few ingredients to choose from, unlike Chipotle. My family didnt like their food either. The restaurant smelled bad.

Tried placing the order on line and use the coupon that came in the mail, however they couldnt do it and I was told I had to bring the coupon in, which is fine. However, I was given the impression with her sigh that I was bothering her to take the phone order. Hope the food is better than the attitude. They diffidently have the wrong person answering the phone or she is having a bad day.

I dont hate this place but I went back after getting my food to tell them the pinto beans taste like they are burnt. They replaced it. Then my husband had to ask for then to replace his too, but they question him and said no they are not burnt. You can literally see burnt marks on the beans. I dont like havent to get your food replaces then being told your wrong. .

Delicious. Love the fresh tortilla. Love the horchata. Lots of varied hot sauces to try. Tables are allways broken and wobbly though. My visit on April 9 16 the floors and tables are a mess. Nothing wiped down. Not even many patrons. But several rio employees out smoking in the parking lot in front and others on the phone. Food is still delicious.

This is my favorite place to eat. Everything is fresh. I love the Chicken Salad. I add all the greens, salsa and cilantro dressing. They have this really great Lemonade/Mint drink, very refreshing. You may have a wait, if a crowd rushes in. This is because everything is made fresh to order. It is well worth the wait. Enjoy.

This location is the worlds worst!! Food is good but service is horrible!! Never enough people working. Came in for lunch on Saturday and one person on the line. Line was out the door and people walking out. The manager of this store needs to be fired. This is pretty standard service for this location.

The cafe Rio in Valencia by six flags magic mountain was Gerry very good in customer service and the experience. I loved the stronger plastic utensils and the amount of chairs and tables. The only thing I wish was a little better was the tres leches cake. I wish it was soaked more in the tres leches.

Freshly made tortilla along with the shredded beef was delicious, although it was a bit greasy. I got a piece of fat along with my beef which made it hard to enjoy. The rice had a lemon like flavor which is good but hard to enjoy if its too much. Overall pretty good. Line moves slow.

Cant describe how unflavored the burrito was probably the worst mexican grill Ive been to the sauces have a very artificial flavor, and first minus I spotted was at the very moment the cook greeted us with a long sad face like if he didnt like his job. I rather go to taco bell.

Foods decent but they have a tough time keeping their beverage machines working. Best thing I like about Rio is the app they have. I racked up points pretty quick and was surprised how quick I got a $10 off coupon. Easy to use and redeem.

Easily one of my favorite places to eat, I stop here about once a week on my commute back to Ventura County. Shredded pork burrito enchilada style is amazing. The staff have always been friendly with me, not sure why others had problems.

One of the best Mexican food place in Santa Clarita. Clean, nice staff. They really seem to hustle. The fire grilled chicken is to die for. Also they make all there tortillas fresh. Definitely would recommend this place.
