Only been to the hole in the wall once because Im not often in Sebastopol at breakfast time. But, the one time I was there was really really good. I had the dutch apple pancake and it was fabulous. Fluffy and light and full of apple and cinnamon goodness. It was just wonderful. Only downside is that it seemed to take a while to be seated and something of a long time for the food to come. On the brighter side, they warned me ahead of time that the dutch apple pancake would take a long time, so I pre-ordered it and it came within a reasonable time of my party being seated. If I ever go back, I really should try something besides the dutch apple pancake, but I probably wont.

Perfect place for breakfast, the best biscuits and gravy in town and I have tried them all. Brought friends over last week who were visiting from Oregon... they left raving. No espresso drinks but their coffee is good. My wife says they do the best poached eggs shes eaten at a restaurant ever. Worth searching out in the Starbucks mall south of town. See you there! Im there several mornings a week since I can walk to it from home.

Im hooked on their burgers! Quality meat and condiments and love the fries. A few years back waiters were not good, they rectified that problem a long long time ago and I just love their food, service, and prices are quite reasonable. BEST cafe restaurant in Sebastopol. You wont be disappointed! Dont know another place in Sonoma County that has a better burger. Thanks to the chef Adam... ;-)

Small place with a small outdoor patio. Delicious specialties! I ordered their french toast. I was with two people who do not care for french toast. Well, EXCEPT for Hole in the Walls, now. Its not try and has special little additions in it. Amazing. Very friendly service, and a funny cook as well! I wish this place was closer. We would visit much more often.

The manager woman smiles but treats her staff horribly. As a waitress for 5 years, I am sensitive to how staff is treated by management. The food is ok, but i feel that she is so venomous and abusive it shows in her cooking. Mistreating your staff in front of customers that you think cant hear you....unprofesional. We wont be eating here again.

Nice varied menu for meat eaters and non-meat eaters, which Im always looking for - something beyond the usual garden burger. I had a garden crepe with broccoli, kale, carrots, among other things, and a buckwheat crepe - yummy and fresh. Friendly service, clean, comfy. Ill go back!

The worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. As I was giving my order the waitress pulled out her phone and sent a text message, as I was talking to her! In trying to serve my food, she smashed a plate of pancakes at my feet, this woman was smoking crack or something.

Hole in the wall is an absolute treat. The owner is very friendly and always greets me like a friend. The Caesar salads are the best in town. Their burgers are off the chart. All-around one of the best restaurants in Sebastopol.

Worst service I have ever experienced. Server told me not to steal the tip from the table next to me. Just because I wear work clothes doest mean Im homeless. Then practically threw the food at me and walked away! Wow

I always enjoy the breakfasts especially the funguy omelet and loxalicious. Nice staff and friendly service. We can sit outside in good weather with our dogs being welcomed too.
